flea treatment for ferrets
Posted on 2010/07/25 by DerekMy ferret has fleas. We tried a lemon juice bath, but that didn't work. We couldn't find a ferret flea product, so we bought something called "UltraCare Flea & Tick 8in1". It says that it "controls fleas and ticks on hampsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs and mice". It doesn't mention ferrets, but I figured that anything that was OK for such small animals as these would be OK for a ferret. But I wanted to check further. I found one page on the internet that claims that pyrethroids are poisonous to ferrets - and this product has 0.06% pyrethrins as well as 0.60% piperonyl butoxide. So... my question is - Is "UltraCare 8in1 Flea and Tick for...

But today when I went to handle her, I noticed she hadn't touched much if any food or water.. and when she emerged from her house, her left eye looked unwell, the fur around it looked like it had been removed, and it looked pink, and her eye did not look well atall, for the first 5 minutes her eye was half closed, then she eventually opened it fully. I put her on a clean kitchen bench to see how she was, and she seemed to be moving...

Uber-Fleas Have Attacked My Cat! Some...
Posted on 2009/10/22 by UserI actually have several questions that all relate to the same problem. I know this is long, but I have tried to be very specific. She's going to be fourteen in a few months. This is my situation: I have a small female cat, spayed before she was a year old. Sha was born to a longhaired grey and black tabby of slightly smaller than average size. Mom was an indoor/outdoor cat, which is why nothing is known of the cat who sired her. It can be assumed that he was not large, and he was a shorthair. ...
