Christian Hunter

Co-Founder, President and CEO

Christian Hunter is one of America’s most influential e-commerce and direct marketing entrepreneurs. While still in high school, he pioneered methods of permission-based telesales that helped revolutionize direct-to-consumer marketing. In 1995, at the age of 21, he founded Bargain Network, Inc., transforming this real estate information start-up into a $65 million direct marketing powerhouse. BNI was acquired by a large public company in 2004.

More recently, Christian has been creating a handful of new ventures through his holding company Attenunit, LLC. As Chairman and CEO of Attenunit, Christian manages a controlling interest in such diverse and promising new enterprises as:

Televets.com – the “WebMd for pets” providing online health and medical information;

Statepay.com – providing cutting edge claimant support in the $40 billion Unemployment Insurance space;

Memoria, LLC – creating the first national brand in the burgeoning market for affordable, environmentally responsible cremation services; and

RottenNeighbor.com – one of the world’s fastest growing and most visible web communities,

From inbound telesales to internet innovation, and from bargain real estate acquisition to pet health care, Christian Hunter—through the companies he creates—is a vital and visionary leader in contemporary e-commerce.

David E Brooks DVM

Co-Founder, Senior Veterinary Advisor

David Brooks graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. He began his career at the South London Emergency & Referral Clinic, which provides emergency care to over 20 surrounding clinics in the South London area. Specializing at the Clinic in emergency veterinary care, David gained vital experience in all aspects of emergency medicine and surgery for dogs and cats.

In the summer of 2004, along with fellow veterinarian Matt Homfray, David was lamenting the lack of quality online veterinary advice. Consequently, they came up with a prototype web Q&A service that connected worried pet owners with certified pet advisors 24/7. This site has now evolved into Televets.com. With countless questions being answered by pet advisors daily, Televets.com has a rapidly expanding archive of previously asked questions and an ever growing library of articles conveying the latest veterinary knowledge.

In 2006, David gained accreditation from the California Veterinary Medical Board and worked as part of a team of doctors at the Animal Emergency Clinic in the Antelope Valley. In the spring of 2008 he returned to London to run a dedicated emergency care clinic whilst continuing to advise Televets.com and their growing team of online Pet Advisors. In his spare time, David enjoys theater, foreign cinema, photography and keeping fit.

Matt A Homfray MRCVS

Co-Founder, Senior Veterinary Advisor

He burnished his reputation through extensive work for the PDSA, a non-profit organization serving pet owners unable to afford normal veterinary fees. With the large caseload at the PDSA Animal Hospital in North London, he has extensive surgical experience.

In the summer of 2004, he and David Brooks, a fellow veterinary surgeon, conceptualized an online question and answer service that would enable pet owners to receive fast and reliable advice on questions about their pets. This service would evolve, by 2007, into Televets.com.
