My poorly bred Great Dane (dob 10/15/06) had three growths diagnosed as papilloma virus and were removed. They never spread to his mouth even with his excessive licking. It has returned and it looks very similar to the previous ones. I was told that once he has papilloma it is very unlikely he'll get it again which makes me think this is something much more serious. I have included links to photos. Can you identify what this is? Thank you so much for your help!...

Will she be okay?
Posted on 2008/06/23 by karenWe just recently got a dog from a shelter and she is a one year old Chihuahua terrier mix. Since I brought her home she has had pneumonia, kennel cough, urinary tract infection and four weeks ago above her eye became inflamed...than the next morning she had a huge lump on the side of her head that was hard! Brought her to the vet and they did the antibiotics, benadryl and steroid shot....brought her home...it got worse...brought her back, they changed antibiotics...thought it was from a bunch of bee stings. Than last week she ended up getting a bunch of lumps everywhere! We brought her in again and they said we would have to bring her to a specialist, so we did and...

i was wondering what i can use on cuts on my dog that will help them heal faster, he had a flea allergy, his lampshade collar drives him crazy an he won't sleep at night with it on, he has bites on the bridge of his nose that bleed a little. Does cornstarch help clot the blood also? thanks for any info.

Now what do i do?
Posted on 2008/09/24 by UserI suppose this is pretty odd. My 5 month old lab got into the chicken pen two days ago. He killed 3 chickens and hurt two others. Of those, one had a puncture wound on its neck and was exhibiting signs of shock. After wound cleaning I applied Neosporin, caged her seperate from other hens in quiet warm place and hoped for the best. So far she is doing well and eating drinking etc. She is getting antibiotics through her water. The other chicken, well I guess this is weird. She had a gaping 2 inch long wound in the back of her neck fully exposing her neck muscles. Despite the significant damage, she was remarkable alert and responsive. I made the choice that I could not...

my pet was injuried at by the groomer
Posted on 2008/09/25 by DUSTINI took my dog into Petco, to be groomed yesterday morning. When we pick them up everything appeared fine, until closer inspection. I noticed my dogs eye was weeping a lot on one side, I called the groomer and she new which eye it was and said it happening a home? Later in the conversion she asked if was bleeding... I thought that was strange. I few hours later I realize he was excessively pawing his eye, thats when i know it happening at the groomers. Because I would have noticed it, he would have been doing it earlier at home. Upon closer in spection I noticed his brow and eye lid area is cut or scratched, I cant tell because of the crusting and weeping arounded the...
