• Stray cat dilemma

  Smoky is a stray but really good friends with my officially owned cat Lassie i noticed a while ago that smoky had been badly injured and left with a slight limp and scarring on about 1/8 of his body he has been around my house a while and i wanted to know if it would be possible to give this cat a home when he is untrusting of people and if i could get him to a vet because i really would not like to fall back on the alternative animal control

• Cracked bleeding nose

  First off thank you for offering this service. Pepper has a very dry cracked nose that is bleeding a couple times a day for the last week I am unable to get him to the vet at this moment but intend to ASAP. He was given medication last summer at a emergency hospital for the same condition they seemed to think by the looks of it was a auto immune disease the meds cured him for awhile but never cured the dryness of his nose which I was told to put KY jelly on to keep moist the last 2 weeks his nose has been terrible it bleeds and is sore and cracked he is contantly licking it which makes it worse I have him on 3 benedryl every 5 to 6 hours ( 100lb dog) it helps with the...

  help i dont know what to do my parents have a cat that they have had for 11years she has a lump on her belly its open and it smells.its really sad they dont have the money to take her to the vet..what should we do please help shes apart of the family

• cat licking at lump non stop

  help my parents cat that they have had for 11 years has a lump on the side of her belly,it started off small but then got real big,and its open and smells real bad all she wants to do is lick it but my parents are worried about her getting sick or hurting it so they clean it with peroxide everyday and put a bandage on it so she dont lick it..this is really hard on my parents my father just lost his job so they barely have money to take care of them selfs..they really dont know what to do.kitty(her name)is not eating or drinking as much she also hasnt been using the litter box much also. she is old so she dont play much anymore and shes fat

• constant licking

  sidney has been having an on and off problem with her leg for a year. She licks it all the time in the same spot in the "arm pit" of her light leg. She is some times lame and then it goes away. We had a lump removed and she was OK for a month but now it fills with fluid and she bites/licks it open again. We have put a cone collar on her for 4 weeks and she just starts licking it again when we take it off. We have given her antibiotics three times for infection. What is it???

• Hamster abscess

  Hi, my name is Kristin and i have a pet hamster. I realized just yesterday a huge bulge on her shoulder. I looked up things on the internet and it is an abscess. My family cannot afford to go to a vet clinic right now and I called local vet clinics to find out the cost ($47). I may seem little amount of money but my family is going through a bad time right now money wise. I wnat to know is there anything i can do? Could i drain the abscess myself?

• Spots on dogs back

  My dog has recently started having sore like spots appear on her back. The sores are crusty at first..then hair comes out and leaves a bald spot. What is this from...how do I treat her?

• Worm, Maggot, just a sore?

  He has what looks like a zit on his neck. I squeezed it a bit and i think there is a worm or maggot in this pin sized hole. I could see what looked like the head of this thing. Is this possible? What do i do? He is acting normal and when i squeezed a bit he didnt cry.

• Paw Bleeding

  I noticed that my dogs paw is bleeding. I believe her toe nail got either caught on something because it is not there. The bleeding will not stop. Please advise.
