• Swollen Scrotum and Strange Red Spot

  My dog was neutered five days ago. Yesterday his scrotum became very swollen and there is a large (larger than a quarter) red blotch on one side of his penis and onto his belly area. His lymph gland is swollen on that side as well. I took him to the vet immediately and they said it was normal--that he licked himself or was getting too much exercise. He has been monitored 24/7 but might have licked himself at night briefly without me knowing or infected it when he decided to sit on a pile of dirt in my yard two days after surgery rather than pee. He didn't have a fever and his heart rate was normal. The vet put him on antibiotics and pain killers and sent us on our...

  got back from vacation, and hydro has developed a red irritation on the lower jaw, it looks like its swelled up and is missing somw hair,looks like it really hurts and is uncomfortable, i put some antibiotic but she licked if off, cound it be a food allergy or mites

  my dog had a tumor removed from paw he managed to pull stiches out is it okay for him to lick it he pulls all bandages off

  My 10 year old shituz is chewing himself untill his hair is gone and he bleeds, HIs nails are over grown but he wont let me any were near him. He has chewed his face feet and back up. he is very nippy and I have to keep him away from the kids because i worry hill bite, is there any thing i can do or would it be best to put him down??

  My puppy about 2 weeks ago had his face some up swollen .. I treated him with antibiotics , benadryl ... Now he has absesses showing up all over his body , and his face (around his mouth) is really raw ...Any ideals what couuld be going on ?

• Hoping for help with sensitive ears

  I have a 7 year old Rhodesian ridgeback. He has had many health issues and not so great luck with vets. He has very sensitive ears, and has had problems with them before, however now they are oozing a smelly yellow pink liquid and I need a fix to help him they are obviously bothering him, but I just dont have a great vet to go to to get some help. Is there anything you can suggest to help get him better

• Chewing on Tail

  My Great Dane is chewing on the end of her tail to the point that it is bleeding everywhere. Could she have hurt it and is chewing on it because she wants it off? Not sure what to do about it

• Cat with wound

  Hi, we are cat sitting for a pair of male sibling cats. One has an old wound on his neck, which has turned into an open soar from scratching. It is growing in size as he won't stop scratching it. It doesn't appear infected and we are trying to put ointment on it as often as we can. Any ideas on what to do?

• i think my dog is dying

  i think my friends dog is dying. its lost most of its hair and the first layer of its skin in a lot of places. hes covered in scabs and raw skin. hes really sick and doesnt want to eat and hes just laying there and even when he puts his head up he keeps his eyes closed. hes in a lot of pain. and he starts heaving and breathing heavy and i think its death rattles. what can we do? its the middle of the night and we cant even go to a pet hospital because they require a $500 deposit and we dont have it. what can i do?

• injured puppy

  My dog just had puppies about a week ago and one of the puppies got stuck between some furniture when my fathe tried to pull the puppy out its arm tore like about half an inch from its body and the puppys tepature is getting realy cold what can i do cos I dont have any money to take it to a vet????
