Posted on 2008/11/06 by AmityMy cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. She was gone for about 3 days and came back yesterday. Her stomach is drawn in on both sides, almost looks like she just hasn't eaten in a while. But, I noticed that she has sort of a small puncture wound on one side. There's no blood, but appears to be oozing white-ish fluid. Not sure if she may have been in a cat fight or possibly shot w/bb gun. She's eaten only a little, but is urinating fine so far, appears to be sorta dehydrated. Please offer ANY advice. Thank you!

wound on chin & brown discharge in ear
Posted on 2008/11/13 by RaquelA month ago my cat started scratching his chin so bad that he has an open wound. It started spreading to his ears and eyes so I took him to the vet. They said he was most likely grown allergic to the food I was feeding him and has a bacteria infection. They gave him shots of steroids and medication which I gave him but only the ears and eyes cleared up. Even though I have changed his food his chin has gotten worse. Now his left ear seems swollen, red and has nasty brown discharge, this is different this how his ears were the first time. It is obvious he is in pain when I touch it but I cannot afford to go back to the vet. Any advice?

My 11 m.o. Rat Terrier female act like she cant see well. Sometimes she will do things like run into walls! Even my family can walk into the room and she will bark like they are a robber, and they have been in the house all day! I can throw a toy, and she will fetch it. Whats the problem??

scab like bald spots
Posted on 2008/11/17 by lindaNot only on lucky but on two of my other kittens that I also have have these scab like marks (about the size of a pea) and no fur just on their face and front legs. What could that be? Is it just from them rough housing?

bowels of kitten
Posted on 2008/11/20 by UserI have a kitten that i found. Took it to vet. They think it may have got caught in a fan belt. Its been eating baby food, drinking water. got it on antib. It had been throwing up. Vet gave it an enima. Now i think its bowels have came out. It seems to be in pain. Can't see a vet till morn. What can i do for it(now)? Can i give it something for pain?

hi my 9 mth lab x has been playing in the garden with my other 2 dogs,she came back in bleeding bad.its from the pad on her back paw she has scraped it of. i have cleaned it,put wound powder on it and vet wraped it. the bleeding is almost stopped,she is fine in herslef. is there anything else i can do ? thank you
