• Too many symptoms

  My 6year old baby (Chiefers) hasn't been doing well since I left home. My mother called after she took him into a vet - the Doctor wasn't in so he saw the intern. He came back with these symptoms.. Slightly enlarged heart and liver, extremely high blood count, high enzyme, spine problem, he lost 20% of his body mass, he wont eat only drinks water but it doesn't seem like he swallows it, hes running into walls and can't clear a door-way, and the x-rays showed a spot in his stomach. But the intern knew NOTHING. I'm in Alaska, he's in California.. He's NEVER had a health problem and all of this happens at once, this isn't a dog, he's my baby boy. I haven't the slightest...

• Swollen 3rd eyelids, losing weight, lethargy

  My eight year old boy started loosing weight a couple weeks ago, and i also noticed his inner eyelids are swolen, or showing, covering half of his eyes. he sleeps all the time, usualy lying on his side. he has no energy at all, and wasent eating verry much. he was on dry food, but he seems to eat more if i give him the wet food, so thats what iv been doing. I have seen the vet 2 times now for this, and hes not better yet. bloodwork was done, as well as an xray, he is on antibiotics and eye ointment. the xray shows that he has an enlarged heart, but the vet dosent think this has anything to do with the symptomes. h was also given an antibiotic shot, a b12 shot and some...

  Spice is 15 years old. Just the past day or two, her eating and drinking have diminished. Today, she is having trouble standing, walks very slowly and occasionally loses her footing in her back legs. What's happening?

  my dog is 1 years old and eats at least 2 bowls of pedigree dry food every day he hasn't gain any weight. It seems like he's losing weight you can see his ribs and his hip bones. why is he not gaining weight? what should his normal weight be?

  my dog is 7 yrs. old. she went blind within 8 weeks and has lost 20 lbs in the 8 weeks and not gaining any her stool is not watery but very runny. she drinks several times and large amount of water daily. she still eats good. but she also has a sowleen ankle looks like infection however not form a bite or injured. She has all the signs of having parisites that have done some serious damage. ? I HAVE NO MONEY FOR VET SERVICES UNLESS I MAKE PAYMENTS. HARD TO FIND. OR I PUT HER TO SLEEP. CAN YOU HELP ME IN FINDING A VET FOR HER OR ADVICE i DO NOT WANT HER TO SUFFER ANYLONGER. SHE DOESN'T APPEAR TO BE IN PAIN ONLY THE LEG IF TOUCHED. THANK YOU SO MUCH

• Eating Good with Weight Loss

  My dog Wode was put on Science Diet Adult Light for Large Breed because he needed to lose weight since we just repaired his torn ACL. We feed both Rotties the same food. Jenny has always been slim (and Wode has always been fat because he finishes her food). We put them both on the same food but we give Jenny a little bit more since she does not need to lose weight. (We give him 4 1/2 cups/day and give her 7 cups/day). She is now very skinny to the point where you can somewhat see her ribs, vertebrae, and pelvic bone?. Is this the food or should she see a vet for something serious?

  my vet prescribed these meds for an eye infection in a small eye and he has been vomiting all day, are these meds safe for a diabetic dog? He has lost 10 pounds in the last couple of days and is very lethargic, what should I do. My vet tells me to keep him on the temperil-P

  i have 3 kittens about 4 weeks old. 3 days ago they were alert, fat, and healthy. now today 2 of them are dead.. just stopped eating and got very cold and died. The mother seemed to stop caring for them 3 days ago and her nipples are very lumpy and distorted now.when they would try to nurse she would just lick them and lick them and then get up walk away. Any ideas if the babies were sick or could the mother have had an infection?i also tried to bottle feed the babies but only 1 responded.

  My 12 yr old sweet ol boy has been feeling really bad, he is lethargic, w0n't sit, only lies on his side. won't walk, eat (only selective foods like a hotdog or a piece of chicken etc.)His bones are starting to show. He has a leaky discharge from his private and the same from his eyes (greenish), It's been a week now and he is no better. He's not throwing up and doesn't seem to be hurting just miserable (but i DON'T KNOW)We do not have the money to take to the vet and I know he is old, I just want to make sure he is not suffering. What should I do? I have been giving him 1 aspirin 2 times a day to help.
