hello there my rabbit is one and a half he hasnt been eating much for 4 days and i think he is losing weight and not running around like he normally does and hes just sits there

Posted on 2008/03/23 by UserMy kitten Sierra was taken to the vet on 3/20/08, and I was told that she had FIP. I've done my research and talked to the vet and assistance, but at 3pm today,& at 8pm, she got up to walk and her back legs were not working properly. does this mean that she is worse then what I am thinking, and should I be prepared to put her down? I have given the antibiotic, supplement, sugar water, and the soft kitten food the way I was told, and she has really been eating well. I am just really worried now with this new problem..Thank You... "Sierra's Mom"

Posted on 2008/05/13 by CarolHi, I've got a 9 year old male cat, Humunculus, who just lost his biological brother (same litter - always been together) to heart problems. My problem is that the cat seems to be mourning and I can't help him. He's lost weight; he isn't grooming himself, he's not hunting; he just lays around. If he sees me, he meows at me at doesn't really move a lot. He looks and sounds sad. My husband thinks I'm personifying him. Humunculus is usually pretty active and an avid hunter. He loves to cuddle with me and sit on my lap. Now I have to find him, pick him up, and he seems to just tolerate it. He's able to move - he just seems to be going through the day like a zombie. ...

My 13 year old dog has been throwing up although she has eaten next to nothing for the last few days. She is trembling and loosing control of her legs. Her nose is dry, and her coat is shedding. She is drinking a lot of water and then throwing it up.

Posted on 2008/09/08 by SherryWhen I adopted my 12 year old cat, he was obese. He has lost 4.5 lbs, and refuses to eat. There have been several changes in his life in the past six months: new owner and home, packing and moving to another new home. The vet that I took him to found a lump on his thyroid, but can not seem to find a reason why the cat will not eat. Any suggestions?
