My Chihuahua has a red spot and purple discoloration on her abdomen, thigh and leg, with swelling on her inner thigh. There is irration and redness around her anus. She is not eating and is listless. What to do?

My cat throws up at night about 2-3 AM. He does not throw up food or solids like water. It's like he has a stomach acke. When I first got him the vet said he had a little bacteria in his stool maybe it came back. I give him about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of baby food chicken in the morning but this AM I did not give it to him. I'm worried about him. Thank you for your help. Nicki

They have one, and all they do is feed my nonsense and charge me really high bills, all my chinese co-workers say they are ripping me off because I am a foreigner here. I need help, my baby is sick with CCV, she took some medication at the vet once, than I brought her home and I keep her confined in the kitchen, and my other dog, Hades, he's out in the living room in a playpen. I disinfect the place everyday, I clean up her stool and then bleach the floor, she hasn't had diarreah since she got back, the vet said don't give her anymore meds, but she threw up this morning. Hi my brother has a bull terrier, he lives in the state of South Carolina. His name is Biko. Biko has been experiencing constant vomiting over the last few months. Sometimes he can go a week or so and nothing happens. However recently he has vomited twice in a matter of a week. My brother has taken him to the emergency vet. he has had blood work done, x-rays, and some other procedure which involve drinking a white liquid to check for foreign objects. Dog vomiting - please help
Posted on 2008/06/01 by UserMy dog vomited sometime today what looked like a bright yellow liquid. After feeding her this evening she started vomiting and when we took her outside she kept vomiting (it looked like her food covered in froth and she ate most of it) and scooting on her belly across the yard. Then she started eating grass and vomited that up as well. Now she seems fine, just really inactive and not her normal self. Should I take her to a vet, or just starve her for 24 hours and feed her a bland diet for a few days?

Posted on 2008/06/07 by JackThree weeks ago my 5 year old chocolate lab was put on Metacam to help with the pain associated with his hip dysplasia. I was told to watch for any vomiting or diarrhea as side effects. We were trying to find the lowest possible working dose for him. He started a dosage of 35 and he weighs about 80lbs. Eventually we had him down to a dosage of about 15-20. He did get sick one morning about a week and a half into his treatment but it was just once and it's not uncommon for him to vomit once in a while. This past monday he had a night of vomiting - probably vomiting about 6 times through the night - he was eager to eat his food but i opted to take him off the metacam...

Our Golden Retriever has puked three-four times, 1st time it had chunks in it and some red string from a toy he had. The next few times it became less brown colored and more white with less and less coming out. Now he just sits there licking his lips and trying to swallow. We try and get him to drink water, but he only drinks very little. He does go outside chew wood off sticks and eat bark when we are not looking. Almost seems like there's something hung in his throat. He has puked in 3o mins or so, but still licking his lips. He usually lays on his stomach, but now he's laying on his side. Should we just wait it out?

Vomiting Puppy
Posted on 2008/06/11 by Elyour 12 wk old puppy was put on clavamox on saturday afternoon for tracheitis and since then she has had no appetite. Yesterday she threw up bile 3 times but ate well last night and kept her food down. Today, however, she has not wanted to eat anything. We force fed her 3.5 oz of wet puppy food but she threw it all up about 2 hours after eating it. We think that the antibiotics might be causing the problems but we don't know if we should stop them. What should we do? Thank you very much.
