My sister has an 8 year old Pomeranian. Two days ago she gave him a piece of a pork chop bone and the next day he turned very ill. She said he's been throwing up constantly and can't even hold down water. She's afraid a piece of bone may have gotten stuck somewhere inside and caused him to get so sick. This morning she said he was vomiting and just fell over onto his side and got really stiff for a minute. They have taken him to a vet but don't really have much money to do anything but test him. 14yrold dog seems like she off balance
Posted on 2008/11/11 by Useri awoke this morning to find that my 14 year old shep/lab mix had thrown up a couple times in the night as well pooped. also she is walking like her legs don`t work right and her head is angled off to one side. any thoughts, she don`t seem to be in pain. also not eating. we have 2 other larger dogs in house(labs).

Dog vomiting a foamy yelow discharge
Posted on 2008/11/11 by UserMy dog is a female age 10 and she is staggering around and not able to walk far with out falling. She is vomiting a yellow foamy discharge which i believe to be bile and it has happened twice in the last 15 min. Also, she has been urinating on the floor, it puddles underneath her when she is laying down, she doesn't know she is doing it. She is just laying around next to me and she is scared what should I do?

The previous owner said that she has problems with her espogas in that she eat her food and the throws it up and eats in again. For a couple of days after having her she never did this, but now she is eating and throwing it up. Most of what she throws up is undigeted food and so far the only thing that i have been able to feed her without throwing up is rice and chicken broth. She doeesn't seem sick. Any ideas?

Digestive Disorder

The vet says she may have a digestive disorder and gave me steroids and a liquid to prevent her from throwing up. She's a small cat to begin with and she had lost some weight. When I brought her back she had gained a little and the vet advised to keep her on the medicine. She is now experiencing diarrea which has a horrid smell. She doesn't throw up as much but I'm not sure if she's getting the nutrition she needs. Should I give her vitamins or is there a Pediasure for cats? What should I do. Well 2 of my 3 dogs got to where they seem blind as far as can walk right,and the just shake like goin into a siezure,2 of my dogs are both 2 yrs from the same litter,the 3rd dog is there dad and is 4 years old after takin the 2 that was not doing well to the vet which they are still there and im waiting to hear from the vet on them, my 3rd dog is now acting like the other 2 have you ever seen or heard of anything like this?

Sick dog
Posted on 2008/11/03 by Jennifer DevineMy boxer has been throwing up the last 2 weeks. The past week , he will not eat a thing. All he does is dring water. My other boxer died with the same symptoms in May. They said she had cancer of the stomach. Could this boxer have the same thing? He is doing the same thing she did. I do not have the money at this time to take him to the vet and I do not want to watch him starve to death. Do you think he has the same thing or something else?

Posted on 2008/10/31 by JC AI have a 2 year old Border Collie mix. For about the past two months, about once a week, she will vomit, yellow stomach acid in the morning about 5:30AM. She did it yesterday and today. Should I be concerned? We feed her at 8AM and 5PM and there is never food in the vomit. There has been grass a few times but not every time. She does not appear to be losing weight either. Do you have any idea what might be wrong?
