My 6 Year old Dachsund is having a very dark yellow discharge coming out of her for the past 2 days. It smells very badly and is coming out in puddle sizes, almost like it is pee but she will lick it all up off of her. Then her breath and whole body smells like this digusting discharge. What could it be and do I need to take her to our vet?
my dog has problem pooping whenever he sits in that position he screams like something is stuck in him. Also his butt hole grew so what is the reason?
i have a boxer who is almost 11. about a week and a half ago she suffered a seizure. every since then her eyes have bee very red, swollen and have a discharge and it all gets worse daily. she has had many health problems her whole life from hip displaysia, surgically fixed. skin allergies, ear infections, skin cancer, hypothyroidism and now the hip that was replaced 8 years ago is very painful again. i need to know when enough is enough. i hate to see her suffer but mentally she is all there and she still gets very happy. please help me decide when and if the time has come to say good bye,
My cat seems to be unable to pee... again! She is only 3 years old and in the last year this has happened three tiems. She has been on the best vet food all her life and before the first instance we kept a regular diet of dried food. We now give her wet food evry 3-4 days in additon to the dry food. She was the runt of the littier and is a doll faced persian female.
We have an 8 year old female Bernese Mt. Dog who has has been diagnosed with both Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and megaesophagus. We have questions that we believe are related to both conditions. Regarding her degenerative myelopathy, she has a difficulty controlling her bowels for some time and recently has been experiencing difficulties with controlling her bladder as well. The latter is much more of a problem than the former. Are you aware of any diapers for dogs that will deal with urination but not the bowel movements. Any diapers that caught the bowel movements would require significant trimming of for a ride her hind quarters which we would prefer not to do...
My male pomeranian 10 month old puppy is well trained. But everytime I come home he is so excited to see me he loses it and urinates. If I reprimand him, of course he urinates some more. Poor dog. my 1 year old lassapoo was nutered in April. recently he has been peeing in the house. I let him out to pee and he comes back in and pees in the house. I am wondering if he could have an infection or if it is a behavioral problem. his pee also seems to be little darker yellow
My 7 year old shih tzu started having seizures on Christmas eve. She is on phenobarbitol for them. The vet I saw said the most likely cause is a brain tumor. The last few days she is drinking a lot more than usual. She is also utinating and having frequent bowel movements.I had her out twice this morning. I had to go out and she urinated on the floor. This is highly unusual for her. It is occuring more often. My suspision is kidney failure. My question is. Is she suffering? She doesn't show signs of pain but is getting a little crabbier. My 12 yr old sweet ol boy has been feeling really bad, he is lethargic, w0n't sit, only lies on his side. won't walk, eat (only selective foods like a hotdog or a piece of chicken etc.)His bones are starting to show. He has a leaky discharge from his private and the same from his eyes (greenish), It's been a week now and he is no better. He's not throwing up and doesn't seem to be hurting just miserable (but i DON'T KNOW)We do not have the money to take to the vet and I know he is old, I just want to make sure he is not suffering. What should I do? I have been giving him 1 aspirin 2 times a day to help.
