Hi thanks for suggestions regarding Bremner. I would love to see a vetrinary surgeon for further tests. Unfortunately I am disabled and can not afford to see one. I go the PDSA vets, can they refer me to see one for free or can you suggest any thing else. Thank you Debbie

Pinkish Red Fluid
Posted on 2008/02/07 by TomeeThe last few days my 18 mo old male cat has been squatting in odd places as if he's going to use his litter box. The first time I noticed this I was concerned because he appeared to be having complications. I raised his tail and saw something light red in color coming out, then a few puffs of air, and then a pinkish red fluid squirted out. His appetite appears normal as well as his water intake. His playful & affectionat personality has not changed either... I have no clue what this could be nor if/how life threatening?

Neuro changes in cat
Posted on 2008/02/21 by JoanneWondering if you can help me with my 8yo. neutered male cat. Last night I heard him crying and when I went to see what was wrong, he was trying to walk but was stumbleing all over the place. His head was also moving back and forth from left to right. He did know me but seemed to be a little disoriented at the same time. He also lost control of his bowels which I spotted later on the rug. He did this about 4 or 5 months ago but I thought he may have eaten something outside and was having a reaction. Now I don't think so since he wasn't outside yesterday except for about 20 minutes in the morning. Any ideas? Thanks, Joanne Carr

Second Opinion/Feedback
Posted on 2008/02/29 by CarolHi. I apologize that this is such a long “question,†but I’ve included some history regarding this problem. Jasmin, my very dear 11-ish-year-old 13-lb cat has had a very rough time this whole month!!! We took her to the vet at the end of January when we noticed she had urinary frequency and blood in her urine. She seemed her usual self otherwise. The vet diagnosed a struvite cystitis/infection and placed her on a liquid antibiotic twice a day and special canned food to dissolve the struvite crystals. (She was also found to have hyperthyroidism and was prescribed Tapazole, which has brought her thyroid levels back to normal.) When we took her...

Yesterday my dog was at daycare - he goes around once a week to every other week and he knows the people there well, they know him. They said that after being there for about four hours with the same caregiver, that he started running in circles, barking, tail between his legs, peeing on himself - and acted like he didn't know the person or where he was. They said he seemed "lost". They were able to calm him and returned him to play, but he did the same thing again. They kept him separated from the other dogs the remainder of the day but he continued to have episodes of not knowing who the people were and acting "scared". THis morning he...

My 12 1/2 year old lab/sharpei mix has started having seizures. She has had 4 in two days. I took her to my vet and they did blood work that came back negative for any issue. The vet thinks that the seizures could be caused by a tumor that is affecting her central nervous system. I don't want to put her through the process of an MRI -- she's already "freaked out" enough. Can you give me a second opinion? I'm really at a loss as to what to do. Thanks.
