My dog recently has started peeing when we get home on the carpet and also has been vomiting during the day when left alone. She normally is left at home for about 7 hrs a day by herself. Before this recent change, she was potty trained and capable of spending a longer period of time by herself. She is our family dog and she has recently (2 weeks ago) moved to stay with me since my parents are on vacation. Is there any advice you can give me?

My 10 year old female, spayed Labrador retriever has stopped eating for the last 3 days. She wants to drink water all the time and her urine is very dark in color. She also seems to be leaking during her sleep. There is no vomiting evident and she has regular stools (not diahhrea).

High biliruben in urine, nothing in blood, low phosphorous
Posted on 2008/02/06 by UserI am DESPERATE for advice about my dog, Barkley. We took him to the vet for a possible UTI and when they checked his urine it showed high amounts of biliruben and crystals. Then a blood count was done and a chemistry. The blood work shows no biliruben, so they said it cant be liver. And the urinalysis had no appearance of UTI by looking at white blood cell count. My dog is on 10mg of prednisone 2x's a day to flush him out and is not doing well on it...From the second dose his behavior changed suddenly and is now very "lethargic". I am terrified and asked my vet tons of ques already.. They said possible Franconis Syndrome but the glucose was fine..The only...

Bilirunin in urine
Posted on 2008/02/06 by DebraHello please can you help me, my dog Bremner has been ill approximately every 6 weeks since we bought him at 12 weeks. His first reccuring problem is lack of appetite and vommiting and diarrohea. He is very lethargic and has itchy skin. The vet thought he had a food intollerence and we have changed his diet several times. He is now on a total wheat and glten free diet and at the moment his vommititng has subsided. He has also had a long term bladder problem. From being young he has always needed to go out about once an hour but only passes small ammounts. After he was neutered he was very ill and could not shake off the effects of the anasthetic. He was unable to pass...

vet surgeon
Posted on 2008/02/07 by DebraHi thanks for suggestions regarding Bremner. I would love to see a vetrinary surgeon for further tests. Unfortunately I am disabled and can not afford to see one. I go the PDSA vets, can they refer me to see one for free or can you suggest any thing else. Thank you Debbie

Pinkish Red Fluid
Posted on 2008/02/07 by TomeeThe last few days my 18 mo old male cat has been squatting in odd places as if he's going to use his litter box. The first time I noticed this I was concerned because he appeared to be having complications. I raised his tail and saw something light red in color coming out, then a few puffs of air, and then a pinkish red fluid squirted out. His appetite appears normal as well as his water intake. His playful & affectionat personality has not changed either... I have no clue what this could be nor if/how life threatening?

Posted on 2008/02/19 by UserMy 15 year old Chichuachua is having a bad problem w/ incontinence. Most of his teeth have rotted and he goes around w/ his tail between his legs. I have resorted to feeding him soft foods. Do you think it is time to put him down?
