    Hi I recently adopted a Cairn Terrior NOT neutered male that is wonderfully trained - he is estimated at 7 yrs old. He constantly marks his territory inside and out - whenever he can especially if he is not under DIRECT supervision. Would neutering help?

  • Broken Tail

    What should I do for my dog that has broken his tail and is chewing it off? We are unable to get to the vet at the time. He has not been pooping since he has broken his tail.

  • Urinary Infection

    Hi, My cat has a urinary infection and the vet gave him Baytril 68 mg, which I have gave 1/2 pill for the last 10 days. A few days after starting the medication he seemed to be doing better, not going to litter box as often and I was able to hear him pee when he did go. Tonight however, after giving the medicine I noticed the same old signs. He continues to go to litter box very often, every few minutes and only dribbles. I have been giving the Baytril with a pill popper so I'm sure that he has got every dose. I always wait a few minutes to make sure he doesn't spit it out or anything like that. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Priscilla

  • Cat Soiling

    My highly nervous Russian Blue cat has started urinating & defecating by my front door. He uses the litter, which he shares with his brother, during the day but seems nervous about it, even when I hold the flap open for him & encourage him. This is a new behaviour (a few days) which may be linked to my having had workmen downstairs fixing a leak. What can I do to stop him?

  • Is my cat suffering?

    I have a cat that is about 13. For several months now he has been going down hill. First it started with him losing a lot of weight. He had a little bit of diarrhea The vet did blood work and everything looked fine but tried an antibiotic and anti parasite drugs. That didn't work and so the vet tried a steroid. Still no results and now the diarrhea is worse and he is no longer making it to the litter box. I cannot afford ultra sound and i feel badly but i can see my cat suffering and he no longer cleans him self and I love him but he smells badly and I wont let him sleep with me anymore in my bed. I feel guilty but I am also frustrated having to clean up his loose...

    Hi I am asking for so advice for my niece's dogs. Well she rescued both of them.They are Yorkies/mixed she thinks.whiskey and Jetes well the trouble is with whiskey He just potties all over the place.They just don't know what to do anymore. They are a working couple they walk the dogs before they go to work and when they come home. And then a few more times before the night ends.Now they are trying to crate train and they have no idea how to do that and if it is even going to help.And we think whiskey was abused.And he has food aggression.His age is they think is between 5-7.He has been to there vet and they asked if it can be physical the vet said no.So they just...

    What does it mean if my cat can't feel his back legs? He is at the vet right now, and they said he has a bladder infection, but they don't know what is wrong with his legs. Someone please answer soon.

  • Leaking urine

    I would like to know if something is wrong when my dog lay down he sometimes leaks urine. Not that much. Why does huskys howl in their sleep????
