We jus got a new kitten who is around 8 weeks old. The adoption agency gave him to us when he was about 6 weeks. I'm wondering if he is sick because he sneezes quite frequently and get green goop in the corner of his eyes. he also keeps biting. I now know that 6 weeks was too early to take him from his mom. What should I do?
We just recently got a dog from a shelter and she is a one year old Chihuahua terrier mix. Since I brought her home she has had pneumonia, kennel cough, urinary tract infection and four weeks ago above her eye became inflamed...than the next morning she had a huge lump on the side of her head that was hard! Brought her to the vet and they did the antibiotics, benadryl and steroid shot....brought her home...it got worse...brought her back, they changed antibiotics...thought it was from a bunch of bee stings. Yesterday, when I left for work he was fine when I came home his nose was swollen and he didn't want to eat but did. He and the other dogs have access through their dog door to the backyard that is fenced as well as their own room in the house when I'm at work. My dog is 9 years old and has started breahing really hard and fast for about a month. I have taken him to 2 different vets they both say allergies. But the shots and medicine hasn't helped him. He has been eating a lot too lately and has gained weight. Just doen's feel good.

My 14 year old cat was bitten by dog 9 months ago She disappeared for three weeks and came home emaciated, and very sick. She was treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatories for 6 weeks. We were told not to expect her to survive treatment. She did but over the last 4 weeks she has deteriorated again. She has lost weight, muscle tone and sneezes blood. Is it time for euthenasia or will I keep persisting with treatment. She was also hit by a car and cracked her pelvis about 6 years ago.
