Sneezing

  • hello! I have an 18 month old Pitbull, we adopted her about 3 months ago and found out she had kennel cough, they said it would go away and it didnt, we took her back and they gave her a bordatella shot to boost her immune system and some cough pills! they did help but now she has started gaging and had come mucus out of her nose when she does sneeze and some morning she has white discharge around her eyes! She is as energetic as ever and eats and drinks well, except for her potty training shes great!, Could It be alergies, can i give her anything or what could it be?and what should i do?

  • cat tilting head to left

my cat recently went to the vet for ear infection. they gave her the medication she is on now. She seemed to be doing better till today. She can barly walk let a lone get up and when she does she tilts her whole body towards the ground and to the left. Could she have a busted ear drum?

  • We noticed that her collar was stuck to something under her throat area and assumed it was a new treat that we had given her. After closer inspection I saw a big brown mass and cut it away. After applying a wash cloth and washing away the area (which had a foul odor) there was a seeping red sore underneath. I administered a salve I had in the house and this morning it is turning brownish again and so I don't know what the problem is. What can I do until I can take her to the vet tomorrow! Thank you!

  • my kitten is sick

my kitten is 9 weeks old and ive had her for about a week now shes been just fine until this morning when i woke she had a runny nose and seemed to be having trouble breathing, i thought at first she might have a cold cause i have not administered her shot yet, but she seems to be getting worse, shes not drinking or eating she still uses the litter box to poo though, and ive been using a dropper a few times today to drop some water in her mouth.. i have no clue whats wrong with her but shes also a little wobbly.. as far as i know nothing serious has happened to her.. any suggestions??

  • Cat Herpes - Drooling

Hello, I have read a lot of articles from this site, all very very helpful. I am maybe paranoid, but it is 3:00 am and I cannot sleep because I am worrying about my cats. I know they have the herpes form of the cat flu, or upper respitory. the one girl cat is drooling so excesivly that she can barely go about her activities. she has to stop and have a drooling fit of foamy saliva. she sneezes when she isnt busy drooling or combined.. I feel really bad for her. I am trying to avoid the vet since we just spend 400 on them last week testing them for FIV and treating their infections so I was hoping to avoid it this time. My question really is what can I do for them...

  • Allergy

I have a 2 yr old Fox Red Lab that seems to have allergy problems. He frequently sneezes, rubs his nose on the carpet, and sometimes has alot of discharge on his eyes. Would it be ok to give him Clariton or another generic form of Clariton?

  • Cat's Eyes

I have a kitten who has had watery eyes the past few days. Now there is some goopy stuff that I am having to wipe away. His eyes look real irritated and a little puffy. Any suggestions as to what it may be and what we can do for him?

  • kennel cough

I recently adopted a 5 month old kitten; have had her about a week. Saturday I noticed my 2 dogs having sneezing and coughing and what sounded like gagging. The kitten was healthy according to the shelter. Could she have brought something from the shelter and my dogs contracted it...like kennel cough?

  • cat flu

My cat was stray which i brought up on artificial milk as his mother deserted him. He is my baby literally but I have a yard which he loves to stay in and of course other cats come. He started sneezing and coughing nearly sick sometimes so I got the vet. He injected him with steroids and antibiotic and told me to give him antibiotics orally for seven days. What can you tell me about this medication and will my Gizzy survive this. I'm really worried as he hasn't touched anything for days and is really lethargic. Looks miserable and in pain most of the time. Thanks
