Sneezing

  • seizure? sneezing?

My 3 year old Boston Terrier has had 3 known seizures in the last 13 months. Last night, he began to twitch his eye, sneeze uncontrollably, and his tongue kept to one side. We assumed it was a different type of seizure since his other all have the same symptoms (shaking, stiffness, foaming at the mouth, not coherent). We waited but it continued longer than normal, so we took him to the emergency vet clinic. There he had a few more episodes throughout the night. They did blood work but it came back normal. He had a few more episodes in the morning, but hasn't most of the day. He began to act as normal (running, playing, eating, drinking). Now he has thrown-up...

  • My cat has been coughing, wheezing, and sneezing, for the past 4days- a week. My mom is a nurse and she thinks its congestive heart failure. He is still active, but we are not letting him go outside right now because of this, and he is still eating and socializing as he would normally. Is there anything else that this could be? Can you help me out I don't want to loose my best friend.

  • My cats

I need help! I have two cats, and the scenario is very similar to the one described above. One had been vomiting, though not to any extensive amount and also started coughing and sneezing. I took her to the vet and was told it could be allergies or feline herpes. Her temp was fine, vet said heart rate, respiration, and physical exam was fine. My other cat exhibited the sneezing symptoms, is now curled up on the bed and if I get her to open her eyes, the third eyelid is showing. What to do?

  • Lil Guy not eating

If Lil Guy is now not eating, and with not being able to afford er visit, is there any method you can suggest to ensure she does not dehydrate? Just over night, she seems to have become worse.

  • allergies and colloidal silver

my boxer dog suffers with allergies all year round, dust mites and pollen affect her the worst. she is currently on atopica 100mg once a day (a lower dose is not as affective) although this works for her she gets an upset stomach and we struggle to get the tablet into her every day (very stressful for both of us) also it works out quite expensive (200 euros a month). have you ever treated a dog successfully with colloidal silver?

  • Please help my sick cat!

I recently got a cat from a shelter. She was only 9 weeks old when I got her. (She is 15 weeks old today.) On the way home I noticed it was sneezing every once and a awhile. I brought it to the vet right away and they said it was the herpes virus. I gave it Viralys for 10 days but there was no improvements. In that time span she also got lots of eye gunk, for which we got eye oinment. With the application of that the eye gunk cleared up quickly. Then I went back to the vet and they gave it Moxiclin. Another 10 days of both those meds and no improvement. Also about 2 weeks after she was off the eye oinment the eye gunk has come back. She is still sneezing alot...
