  • My male pet rabbit died two weeks ago (jaw abscess) and found out a few days later that my female rabbit is pregnant. I 'm pretty sure they had relations while he was sick. How will this affect the baby rabbits and the female rabbit? My vet cultured the pus from the abscess and it came back that it was staph. Is that contagious to other rabbits? please advise.

I have 12 day old rottweiler puppies. We keep them from the mom unless they are feeding because she smoothered one on day one. We let them eat every 3 hours. My question is, what is a SAFE age to let them be with her full time with danger of her smoothering another one?

  • My year and a half old Pomeranian had (two) puppies a couple days ago (on Monday morning). One puppy still has a piece of umbilical cord (about 3 1/2 inches long, maybe more) still attached to her. It's dry and very very thin. Will this fall off on its on, will mom take care of it, should we take care of it? 2. When we do handle the puppies, which is rarely, (to clean, let mom out, check on them etc.), we...
