my cat is pregnant dont know how far is getting bigger and not eating properly for 2 weeks she has lost rapid weight and she has trouble breathing like its heavy with gasping in it and she coughs like she got a fur ball bout twice a day . she looks sick but i cant afford the vets i am a pensioner is there any thing you can tell me be4 i have to do this?

Posted on 2008/12/14 by AnimalWell heres my gerbil story. i have 3 gerbils and one noticably started getting bigger. not neessarily in the tummy but never the less, big. then she built a nest. so i took the other 2 to the petsmart and found out that one of my 3 supposedly "girl" gerbils is a male. its been bout 2 weeks since the nest but she doesnt look pear shaped. could she just not be "ballooning out"?

Equine COPD & Breeding
Posted on 2008/12/17 by UserI have a 15yr old mare "Dixie" whom I found out on Friday that has COPD or heaves. Right now she is having trouble getting the oxygen out of her lungs, has mucus in her nostrils and is coughing. We started her on 5cc a day of Ventipulmin and will be taking her completely off hay as soon as we can. I was thinking of breeding her when she starts feeling better but I want to know what the risks are to her. I don't want to hurt her at all so if its dangerous to breed her since she has COPD I won't. Help is appreciated. Also my vet did say that after we have it under control I could possibly breed, but he did not tell me what the risks were, thats why I am...

Posted on 2008/12/21 by KaseyMy Pitbull gave birth 4 weeks ago to her first litter of 9 puppies. How long is she suppose to bleed for? Its not alot of blood and is kinda clotty , and its red. What could that mean? and what should i do?

Posted on 2008/12/28 by UserMy shitzu has had 4 puppies on Dec 26th. She has panting lots after giving birth. She has been very good other than that. I am just wonding if I should be worried at all about her. She seems to be find, but I never noticed her pant like this before. She does seem to be a little warmer than usual. How can I be sure that she is just warm or if she has something seriously wrong with her. And I also don't have a way to check her temperature. What else can I do?
