my pekingnese delivered a stillborn pup last summer and i'm afraid it's happening again. i know she's pregnant and she's acting very strange as before. She has a dark foul smelling fluid coming from her vagina. She runs back and forth, lays for a minute all day long. If her pup is stillborn, is there anything i can do to help her? the vet doesn't open for another 5 hours.

Posted on 2008/02/10 by marieMy dog isn't feeling well. It hurts her to get up or lay down at all. She is very stiff in doing so because I'm under the impression flexing her throat muscles (possibly her thryroids) is painful. She hasn't had a BM in 2 1/2 days. She ate 2 cans of food hand fed, but hasn't drank hardly any water. She's had the shivers on and off, but doesn't appear to be cold. It's Sunday and not many vets are open. I really can't afford to go to the vet anyhow. I've been thinking she ate something she shouldn't have, but really cannot tell for sure. If she did, I'm curious to know if there is some kind of doggie ex lax I can buy for her, or if possibly human ex lax would not...

I opened the door and she was tied with the dog from next door.It happened lastnight on Feb. 24,2008. Its only been 3 months or so. is that possable and what are my options.

Pushing away the runt
Posted on 2008/03/07 by PriscillaOur cat is nursing 2 litters, 7 kittens all together. 4 are a week old and 3 are 4 days old. She has done well and I've helped some by alternating giving them formula. Today she has been pushing the runt off and it is very weak and barely takes formula. Is there anything I can do? It only weighs about an ounce, it's so tiny and tired.

And She is still bleeding and still a little swollen but my other male dog didnt notice her being in heat until now, and he is ten times bigger then her, and I was wondering if he got her pregnant would it hurt or harm or even kill Sadie through the pregnancy or birth?
