Pregnancy related

  • My pregnant cat has had her first placenta hanging out of her for over an hour. It is about the size of a shooter marble, and looks more bloody on the inside than with a clear fluid. She's not having contrations, and she's behaving quite normally. Is this normal, or could it be a placental abruption? I live in a rural area and the vet is out on a ranch call.

  • Possible pregnacy

We had bought two bunnies from a pet store about 2 months ago. We were told that both were girls and we looked as well and thought. The past couple of weeks we had to seperate them due to one trying to always hump the other. Today the one bunny passed a blob that could of been an embryo, but not sure. Is she pregnant and how can we tell without hurting the kits? We don't even know how old they are because the pet shop didn't know either they just said a couple of months old.

  • Constipation or Pregnancy?

I've had my dog for about two years, and she's had issues with constipation before, but she has never been like this. Recently she has gotten to where she whines as if in pain when anyone touches her from the waist down..petting her, touching her, or even if she sees someones hand there. She wont eat anything at all..not even meat or hotdogs(her favorite) She wont drink anything but milk. She also just lays on the bed, she wont move and if we nudge her to get her to move she whines and cries. She has not "done her buisiness" her about two days but before those two days she was happy and fine. Could she be pregnant or just constipated again?

  • I have a 1 1/2 year old female yorkie that has not been spayed yet. We noticed her belly was bigger, slightly swollen and firm. When we squeezed one of her nipples milk came out. What is the probability she is pregnant?

  • Aggressive Cat

My cat Willow had a kitten recently. Until then she was extremely friendly with one of my staffy dogs. They would sleep, groom, play and generally love each other. When Willow had her kitten she suddenly became very aggresive towards Bosco. Thinking it was just her being a protective Mum, she went to stay with family, who were adopting the kitten. Willow came back home, her kitten has stayed with his new family. Now she has attacked one the the dogs again! It's as if there's a 'love/hate' switch been installed. One minute they're like they used to be, rubbing, sleeping, grooming him. Then for no apparent reason she will attack him! Why just him and not the others? She...
