Hello, my German sheppards hasnt been eating the way he should be the last week, and he is having problems going to the bathroom, as in solids. He looks like he is in discomfort, and is starting to walk funny. his stool is small, and I think there might be worms, I actually saw a worm in his stool, but I am not sure if it was there or a visitor later. It looks like he has been digging alot lately outside, I wonder if he ate something from the ground, and now its playing havoc with him. I love my dog, he is 8 and my buddy, but he isnt doing well, and I am divorced and cant afford to take care of him if this is serious, its really killing me to watch him just get more...

post surgery care
Posted on 2008/10/31 by Usermy cat had ear hemetoma surgery on monday. he was sent home with no pain killers/ oitment and i was instructed to just apply a hot pack to his ear 4 times a day. his ear got pussy/smelly after three days because he was crying so much i couldn't do the hot pack as much as i was told. when i brought him back, the vet said it was pussy because i didn't do the hot pack enough. he pulled all the scabby puss with his hands while while my cat was screaming in pain. he said no oitment was necessary, just keeping it clean with hot water. i've been doing this a lot now for the past 24h but it is getting yellow again and smells bad. is there anything i can put on it to prevent...

Slow Recovery after Neuter
Posted on 2007/11/13 by UserI am fostering a 7 month old Maltese puppy who just got neutered last Friday (4 days ago). He seems to be in great discomfort - he will scream and scoot his bottom on the ground, or scream and suddenly turn around and lick himself. This happens randomly and frequently. The incision looks clean. When he stands, he keeps his back hunched. Yesterday I started giving him buffered dog aspiring (1/4 tablet every 12 hours), but I don't see much improvement. Should I be worried? I called the vet who neutered him yesterday, and he didn't seem too concerned. It is hard for me to see him in such pain.

My dog has been limping on his left front leg all day and he is very uncomfortable, whining and crying. I can not get him to a vet at this time and I have very little money to have it fixed if it has been dislocated or broken. I did call a Vet in the area and they told me to put a heating pad on it till I can have it seen. Is there anything else I can do to make him more comfortable or give him till I can bring him in to be seen?

I live in utah valley in utah, and my dog is itching his ear like crazy. I asked about it on yahoo answers and i got refered here. I am wondering if it is some kind of allergys, an ear infection or some kind of mite, or bugs.

teeth problems

back pain lethargy
Posted on 2008/01/30 by UserHI my dog was with my mom's husband and got hug by his leash over the fence - for a few minutes. He already had arthritis in is back. Now there seems to be a bump in his back and he is lethargic. Is his back just more sore or could this be something else? Also increased panting.
