• hip pain older dashound

  my 12yr old mini dashhound has a level 3 heart murmer and is on 12.5mg lasix 2 xday and 2.5mg enalapril 1xday, she is having a little joint hip pain what can i give her ? is baby asprin save with the other meds

  my cat has a tumor on her right hind leg that has broken through the skin and is rotting. she still bears weight on the leg, she is still eating, and still plays with her toys. she is 13 and she still seems to have a lot of life left in her, however the smell from the leg is getting worse. I can't be in the same room with her without a spoiled meat smell. I change the bandage every day and she is taking Buprinex every 12 hours for pain. is there anything that I can do to reduce the smell, and how will I know when to put her to sleep?

  about 3 days ago my cat took a turn for the worse.. Very sick screaming out in pain almost growling.. very tender in abdomin. pooped on floor yesterday and has not since.. stomach bloated and no energy and not eating.. ten years old.. I have never seen him sick like this.. I am considering puttin ghim down tomorrow.. somethingreallhy wrong in his abdomen..

• 8 wk. old pom. with rectal bleeding

  my 8 week 1lb. 3oz. pomerarian had a check for worms on her first check up, she yelpt very loud. the next day her stool was verysoft and had small drops of blood in it. on the third night {last night she had very very soft stool and more blood and she whined at the passing of it. is this a normal after this exam or is there something more going on here. i have an an appointment today but because of her size i am extremely afraid. there have been no changes in feeding or anything else. she still does play and eat, there is no vomiting.

• Dog is having severe reaction after grooming

  My male Bichon puppy of 15 months was completely shaved by a groomer. After this he is not the same, and not even able to go for a walk. He only wants to be curled up in his bed or the coach and will not get up and walk to his food or anywhere else. He is very frightened to be outside and cries when I take him to go poopy. He has lost interest in everything and he was an extremely active and playful dog before this. The vet has taken x-rays and didnt find anything. He also will not stand on all four legs. He will quickly scoot to the coach and sit there with his head down. Can someone please tell me what is possibly going on with him??? THanks

  Sandy received the second vaccination for lyme disease yesterday. Today her front paw is hurting and the joint is swollen. Is this a reaction to the shot?

  became v stiff 6 months ago very suddenly vet diagnosed arthritis prescribed rimadyl got better in a month became very stiff in the neck again after stopping rimadyl..vet said not arthiritis dog too well and fit was in fact disc in neck problem on longterm 25mg rimadyl every other day.is well on this. isit okay to keep at this dose..how much exercise should he have cos he likes running thank you very much for listening

• Older dog with large lump on shoulder

  My friend's dog developed a large lump on her shoulder. The dog is a black lab/border collie mix and is a little over 7 seven years old. The lump doesn't seem to be causing her any discomfort so far and my friend has only seen her limp once or twice. Other than that she behaves normally. Any ideas as to what is causing the lump?

  hi i am having some probs with my rat me and my partner trimed his teeth 3 days ago and he has gone down hill since he is breathing very heavey and he is looseing alot of weight he is'nt eating or drinking he is very lifeless any idea's ?
