My 4 yr old male cat has been vomiting for the last couple of days and has also desided to urinate out side of the litter box... he does drink a lot of water and he does eat very well... he doesn't vomit everytime he eats though...please help...

Posted on 2008/11/13 by ChristineI have a 3 yr old that weighs 48 pounds and the vet has tried different weight loss dog food. The last one we tried was Royal Canin which Niko hated. I switched him to Orijen which is alot more healthier in my opinion then the other diet dog foods. The vet said he would never weigh 30 pounds as he is a big boy but would love to see him weigh 40 pounds. I only feed him once a day with a cup of the food and cut him off any dog treats except the odd chicken tender but is counted into his daily food intake. I walk or run him pretty much everyday for an hour or hour n half. He doesn't run like a fat dog. If we can't go for walks then I play with him for a good 30 mins or more...

i have a 6 year old cat an he has started to look bloated and has dirreah...i gave them a wormer called d-worm (piperazine) incase they had worms...he is a 6 year old 10 1/2 lbs outdoor cat...i don't have much money for a vet...anything i can do like a home remedy

breathing problems
Posted on 2008/09/29 by UserMy dog is 9 years old and has started breahing really hard and fast for about a month. I have taken him to 2 different vets they both say allergies. But the shots and medicine hasn't helped him. He has been eating a lot too lately and has gained weight. Just doen's feel good.

Is she sick?
Posted on 2008/10/09 by SharonMy chihuahua has recently started to drink tons of water and pee huge puddles of pee all in our dining room. I was worried that maybe she has developed diabetes, but then today when I was cleaning up a puddle of pee I found a worm in it! It was about an inch and black. What was it? Do you think that could be the problem? Oh yea my parents also took my chihuahua for about six months and during that time my dad feed her tons of crazy human food so she has put on some weight as well, incase any of that can be of some help.

9yr old Female Golden Retriever Thrombocytopenia
Posted on 2008/10/26 by UserMy dog was diagnosed with immune mediated Thrombocytopenia on Friday. She was peeing blood, and had multiple petechiae on her belly which have turned into several large dark purple/blue patches about 4" in diameter. She has thrown up blood several times thursday night thru sunday am (looks like coffee grounds) puddles about the size of a dinner plate. She was given a shot of Vincristine in the office and is on Prednisone, cimetidine, and azathioprine. She has stopped eating, but does drink. The vomiting has slowed down, but the blood has not stopped in her urine. When she goes, it is not just tinged with blood, it looks like completely blood, and is now...

why is my dog having breathing trouble
Posted on 2008/10/30 by UserMy chihuahua/rat terrier mix has sniffles really bad, and it sounds like she's drowning when she breathes in. She has asthma, and when I gave her a whiff of her inhaler, it stopped, but the sound was not like her "normal" asthma.
