  • Sick for 3 days

My dog has been vomiting for 3 days now and I just gave him Cephalexin but I have a medicine called Metociopramide which my vet said is for vomiting but I am not sure if I should give him that also. My dog has not eaten anything different and for the last 3 days he has not eaten anything at all. Nothing is coming up in his vomit except a water substance there is no blood or food so I am not sure what to do

  • My dog is very lethargic and panting a lot. We went to the vet yesterday and they took blood, urine, etc...., but she seems to have gotten worse. I took her temperature today and it is 101.3...normal. She is just very out of it, and seems to be depressed. Also the panting and breathing heavily is bad. She's a golden retriever, 7 years old, on thyroid medication(soloxine), has allergies(takes an antihistamine daily too), and tends to have a very sensitive belly. She may also be having an increase in the number of times she is urinating. Or it just may be because of the hot weather, and I am giving her a lot more water daily. I don't know if I should take her to th ...

  • Bladder

Prince has been trained since he was a puppy and I never had any problems with him peeing in the house, but about a month ago it started to where when I get up in the morning he has peed all over his pee pads that I leave down at night, and not only have those soaked, but he has wet his bed and several different spots on the floor of the room where he stays. He seems to do ok during the day when I am home, but only when I am gone for 5 or 6 hours at a time and at night. I would like to know what might be causing his bladder problem and if there is anything I can do for him?

  • I lost a German Shepherd to cancer last year. All her lymph nodes swelled and that's how we found the cancer. Now, I have another shepherd. Yesterday, I noticed 2 lumps in her throat...one on each side of her swallowing tube. She breaths heavy most of the time. (snoring while she's awake), though the vet never gets to hear it. Could this be the same thing our other one had?

  • What's wrong?

My cat has been acting strange the past week. She is a partially indoor/outdoor cat but lately she has been sleeping all day, she gags a lot, and her 'meow' is almost inaudible. What could be wrong and should I take her to a vet?

  • Weakness

My dog Lizzy is a Sharpei/bassett mix. She is 5 years old and overweight. She's had trouble recently being able to jump up on the bed and getting up the back steps. I've put her on weight control dog food. Yesterday we took a short walk (about a mile) and I could tell she was having a hard time at the end. Last night and this morning she could barely stand up and her hind legs were shaking. Could it be something else is the problem or simply she is not in good shape?

  • Hair loss,

Just curious, I got a chocolate lab mix a month ago or so. I noticed right away she was about 15-20 pounds overweight. After giving her her second bath I noticed she is missing hair on her side and toward her hind quarters. Female will be 2 in April and thoughts?

  • What might be the cause of a bloody mucus discharde with her stool. I have spotted 2 spots of what appears to be blood on the carpet. Also, she jumped out of the litter box and dropped a small piece of stool with the discharge on it.

  • I was brushing out my 4 year old cat and notice that she had a lot of white flacks in her hair. She also was shedding alot more hair then normal. She has gained some weight in the last few months. I would say that she was small in size and now is more normal weight.

My cat needs to be seen by my veterinarian but bites me when I try to pick her up. How can I keep from getting bitten and still get her to the doctor?
