my dog is all of a sudden acting very lethargic and won't eat. She is staying at my grandmothers house and we've been out of town, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Posted on 2008/04/04 by owenMy eight year old boy started loosing weight a couple weeks ago, and i also noticed his inner eyelids are swolen, or showing, covering half of his eyes. he sleeps all the time, usualy lying on his side. he has no energy at all, and wasent eating verry much. he was on dry food, but he seems to eat more if i give him the wet food, so thats what iv been doing. I have seen the vet 2 times now for this, and hes not better yet. bloodwork was done, as well as an xray, he is on antibiotics and eye ointment. the xray shows that he has an enlarged heart, but the vet dosent think this has anything to do with the symptomes. h was also given an antibiotic shot, a b12 shot and some...

My 5 year old lhasa abso/terrier started vomitting a lot food and water about a week ago. The vet here (with rusted tables and basic facilities) gave a treatment for antibiotics and de-worming (vermicannis) plus anti-vomiting injection (Vogolene) plus somthing to stimulate appetite since it had been 4 days that the dog stopped eating (after vomitting so much). The dog was dehydrated and would drink so much, then throw up the water so the vet gave injected syrum (water). She got better after the 5 day treatment then 2 days later, started vomitting again. Posted on 2008/04/20 by MelissaI have an 11 year old lab with cushings who is currently being treated with lysodren. WHo also loves to eat. Yesterday, she was acting very strange and refused to eat. ( Very unusual for her. I watched her closely and noticed she had very watery diarrha. I left for two hours and came home to four piles of puke of which looked like food. I figured a belly ache. BUt last night I woke up to the awful smell of poop, only to find a pile of liquid diarraha with blood in it. And again this morning she ate only a few bites. Dachshund losing her footing

Broken Jaw????????
Posted on 2008/05/05 by BlairGeorge fell face first off the deck railing onto the ground. Approx 3 feet. He has a spot on his bottom jaw that moves. He seems to be in pain and won't eat, but will get up to drink water. He has started to lose control of his bladder today and is weak when he gets up. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated
