  • Cat behaviour change with age

Charlie, our 10 year old, mixed breed cat has had some noticeable behaviour changes in the last week or so. He has gone off his regular food and only eat treats such as a can of tuna, and completely avoids any other food that he would normally eat. I think this has led to him losing a bit of wieght ( which could be slight paranoia from seeing him not eating). He is sleeping quite alot in the same spot (which is unusual for him, as he likes to move around), for example today he spent the whole day (around 16 hours) asleep on the bed, not even moving to go to the litter box - or eat. He has also become very placid and spends alot of time sitting on our laps, which...

  • Lymphoma

I have a 13 year old American Eskimo dog that was diagnosed with lymphoma today. I am wondering if it is worth it to save this 13 year old dog, as he is not eating anything at this point, but still drinking water. He is breathing very heavily, snoring, chest is shallow. Don't really know what stage this is, but is it worth it to do chemo considering the dog's age? I just lost my other American Eskimo (same age) in March to Addison's. Please advise. Thanks!

  • Cat throwing up

My 2 year old cat is refusing to eat much food. He also will go around and randomly throw up all over the house. He seems perfectly find other than these two things. Is there something the matter and what can I do?

  • sick cat

a couple of months ago our 8yo indoor cat began showing symptoms of illness including frequent coughing, vomiting several times/day but otherwise seemed ok (eating/sleeping,personality). We took him to the vet and all bloodwork was good, liver/kidneys good, thyroid good....we brought him home and after sometime seemed to be improving. The vomiting slowed and eventually stopped altogether as did the coughing. We thought he was slowly on the mend but now has virtually stopped eating/drinking entirely. He has lost a massive amt of weight and appears very frail. He spends most (if not all) day sleeping or laying and staring off. When he DOES walk, he is slow and sometimes...
