Vet gave me Strongid to give to my 2wk old puppies now the two smaller ones have a knot that has come up in there neck, Is this a reaction to the medication? I have been watching the two since I noticed this and their breathing seems to be the same as the others.

Questionable shedding

SWELLING AROUND ANAL OPENING
Posted on 2008/06/22 by ClinonMY DOG HAS SWELLING ON ONE SIDE OF HIS ANAL OPENING. IT ALSO HAS TWO PUNCTURE WOUNDS WHERE THE SWELLING IS. WE DO NOT KNOW IF THE PUNCTURES WERE CAUSED BY HIM LICKING AND ITCHING THE AREA OF IF HE GOT BIT OR STONG BY SOMETHING. YESTERDAY THE IT WAS DRAINING AND THE SWELLING WAS GOING DOWN, BUT TODAY IT HAS GOTTEN BIGGER AND IS NOT DRAINING. WE HAVE BEEN WASHING THE AREA AND PUTTING NEOSPORIN ON IT. WHAT COULD THIS BE?

Boxers and Hives
Posted on 2008/08/05 by PeterSo Samson my 5 year old Boxer has gotten himself hives. They started on his head, gave him benedryl and they have moved down to his neck and onto his body. All in all the hives seem under control, and I am thankful for it... however I do have a question. Would it be a good idea to give him a bath right now? We do not know how he got hives, thinking it was a spider bite becuase he hasn't eaten anything out of the ordinary and I've feilded plenty of bee stings. My concern about bathing is twofold. One he hates water. I do not want to shock him mentally with the process of bathing because he really does not like it water. Two, the shampoo. I do not want to irritate...

red itchy bumps
Posted on 2008/09/02 by Usermy 5 month old dog has red bumps on the leg/arm pits. they look like smalls nipples. i have been cleaning them twice daily with salt water but they are not clearing up. she has had the rash for 5 days. any suggestions gratefully received.

Small lumps on skin
Posted on 2008/09/05 by UserOur cat has developed small bumps on the skin of her head and neck. They are increasing in number and size. She is an indoor only cat, is declawed, and is an only pet. Some of them seem to get scabby and lose the scab.
