i think my friends dog is dying. its lost most of its hair and the first layer of its skin in a lot of places. hes covered in scabs and raw skin. hes really sick and doesnt want to eat and hes just laying there and even when he puts his head up he keeps his eyes closed. hes in a lot of pain. and he starts heaving and breathing heavy and i think its death rattles. what can we do? its the middle of the night and we cant even go to a pet hospital because they require a $500 deposit and we dont have it. what can i do?

my beagle has a black, bulbous growth inside his lip, could this be cancer? He is eating fine, it doesn't seem to hurt him.

my hamster that we have had for over a year has become very inactive over the last few hours. He will not open his eyes and his genital area has swollen greatly. What do you think?

raw inside of ears, and scab on upper part of tail, one eye gets infected
Posted on 2008/03/05 by UserWe have taken our Kitty to our local vet a couple of times to get Jasimine checked out...Both times the answer was allergy to the food we were feeding... We have changed food and giving her Duck and Peas (small cans bought at the Vets office) for about 9 weeks now and do not see an improvement. She acts fine and is in good health, except for the sore ears (which she does not complain about or itch) and the scab on the tail. Any ideas ? thanks Karl

Dog cross eyed
Posted on 2008/03/08 by UserMy dog all of the sudden has crossed eyes. He has never had crossed eyes, and I was wondering what would cause it. Also, after seeing his eyes I was examining him and found a swollen spot in his right earflap. When I feel the earflap it makes him uncomfortable. Anyway, does anyone know what might be causing these symptoms? He is a Black Lab about 5 years old.
