my six week old lab pup has a lump in her neck, just under her chin, approx. the size of a lemon. she also has wart-like papules around her mouth that are draining yellow to clear drainage. her eyes are also draining a light yellow discharge. what is this and how do i treat it?

my 10 year old cat has a lump to the side of her nose. It was first noticed 4 weeks ago and the vet has done a biopsy which she stated was inconlusive but she may not have biopsied deep enough. She is reluctant to operate as although the lump is not intruding into the bone, it has bone like qualitites (as in it is very hard). The lates treatment the vet has given is steroids. I have been away for the last week while the cat was taking steroids but it still seems to have grown in the last week. Do you have any recommendations?

Swollen Lip and paw of a Cat.
Posted on 2009/10/23 by UserWhat does my cat have?! My 7month old male Cat had a swollen upper lip and was taken to the vet. He had a double canine tooth and it had to be removed. Its been a month or 2 and I notice his paw had a swollen nail and he isn't limping or even acting like anything is wrong. But he keeps licking it. Please help, i don't want to take him to the vet unless its an emergency because he got fleas from there and surely that was Hell. Please help Mr.Moo!

20 Year Old Cat Issues

I give her some thyroid medicine 2X per day. The lymph node on the right side under her chin is inflamed and it appears she has something going on under her tough. She is drooling constantly. Whenever she eats or drinks the drooling get worse. About two weeks ago her breathing has become labored. She will gasp for breath with her month open and her right eye lid has rolled up. Growing Lump on Cat's Head full of blood
Posted on 2009/10/30 by UserMy 1 year male cat had a small lump on his head yesterday and it grew to large golf ball size today. Once it reached that size and he scratched it...it began to seep/spew a bloody like substance and then when i tried to drain the rest out by pressing on it with a paper towel blood came out....after all the blood is pretty much gone his face goes back to its normal shape.....this has happened to him once before...a couple of weeks ago and we bandaged it up and put a cone on him so he couldn't scratch it. Well it looked like it healed so we took the cone off of him and now...a couple of weeks later its back.

Multiple, nonpainful lumps on lab puppy's...
Posted on 2009/10/30 by UserMy 4 month old black lab-mix puppy has a bunch of bumpy lumps in one of her outer ear flaps. is does not appear to be painful, is not itchy, crusty or have any color.. it is inside the skin. She is feisty, happy and has a good appetite and no problems with bowel movements. Is this something I should be worried about?

Posted on 2009/10/31 by Useri was given to kittens in september that had been wormed before we got them and was told that they had had their injections, they are both girls. the problem is the both keep sctatching and now one has fur missing of her neck and it keeps wheeping and looks red raw. what is it? and what can i do to make her better?

Lumps on muzzle
Posted on 2009/11/01 by MichelleMy German shepherd has swelling or more like some small bloated lumps on his muzzle and around his face on and off for the last week or more. We took him to the vet last week, who advised this was an insect bite and gave him an anti histamine injection. This brought it down straight away but now it has appeared again. He has previously eaten spiders and insects around the house and never had this type of reaction so I am doubting out vet. Is there anything else it could be? Thank you
