Certain part of the body scales of my green iguana are protruding (erected), look waxy and smelly. Looks like there is swelling under the skin that causes the erected scales. Eating habit normal. What causes this and how to cure it?

inflammation of penis
Posted on 2007/12/11 by J.my small toy poodle has recently experienced some swelling and some discharge from his penis,he was recently trying to engage in sexual activity with my border collie which isn't possible so he was more or less glued to her leg and I believe has sustained some abrasive damage to his penis or something,we have given him some penicillin .3 ml every other day since last thursday dec 6th,so far he has 3 shots and we have been washing out the area with saline solution,we are very poor and living on disability and we are doing all we can here is there something else we could be doing?

neuter incision wound reaction / infection
Posted on 2007/12/19 by LindsayMy 7 month old puppy was neutered about 3 weeks ago. The wound has healed, however, there is some redness now. There is a blister-like wound right beside the area (but not over it) and two other red spots on the area. He is in absolutely no pain, even when i touch the area. I don't know how to clean it or if i should. should i be terribly worried or could it be from getting dirty after healing, licking, etc.?

lump on tail
Posted on 2008/01/27 by stephaniemy dog mindy has developed a huge lump on her rear end by her tail. It must be the size of a baseball if not bigger. It's hard in some spots and squisy in others. I just noticed that she's bleeding from it now and I don't know what to do. She saw a vet when it was small and he said it must be a fatty tumor. Now a year later it has grown. They said they could operate but now that's it's so big is that possible?

Bump - does she have a cyst?

Do you know what this could be I want to be prepared when I go to the vet.

possible insect bite
Posted on 2008/02/04 by MonicaMy 5 year old , 15-17lb mixed breed tom cat.Appears to have a sting or small insect bite on his front left arm, between his shoulder and elbow. It is slightly swollen and he does limp a little when he walks, but I can tell it is bothering him.I was wondering what OTC I could give him for pain and swelling? and what should I use to put over the spot? (its very small spot like sting bite I almost could not see it and it feels like a small bump,no blood)

What is wrong wiht her?
Posted on 2008/02/10 by StephanieOK, I think my cat is pregnet. She is eating a lot more and her belly is swolen. But the biggerst concern is that she has been loosing alot of hair around her belly. At first it was on her hind end and bottom of her tail. But now it's her whole belly and some areas of her legs. I thought some one has been playing a prank and shaving her but I'm keeping her form going out side so now i know it's not. My husband noticed that her fur was almost gone on her sides tonight! I'm extremly concerned. We don't have much money to take her to a vet, but if she's in serious trouble we will. Oh, and there are no scabs from scratching either. Her poo is a yellowish color.
