MY 10 MONTH OLD BOXER PUPPY EATS EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. I TRY MY BEST TO KEEP THINGS AWAY FROM HER, BUT SOMEHOW SHE ATE A PIECE OF ONE OF THE MANY CACTI I HAVE IN MY HOUSE. SINCE THEN SHE HAS BEEN LITHARGIC, THROWING UP AND I NEED AN ANSWER WHAT TO DO FAST. PLEASE HELP ME

She is having trouble using her back legs but is neurologically intact... her pupils are equal and reactive, her respirations and heart rate are normal... Mydog has been on Deramaxx for about 2 weeks--he has lost his appetite and is very listless. I just awoke in the middle of the night and found him panting like he had been exerting himself greatly and his heart beat seemed extremely fast. He is 13 and has been pretty healthy until the last three weeks or so with the exception of some stiffness from arthritis. The loss of appetite and listlessness have occurred since he's been on Deramaxx. I've read about the side effects of Deramaxx, so I'm really worried. What can I do?

Posted on 2008/02/18 by AngelMy cat has been sick with a fever, they are not sure what is wrong but currently have her on cyproheptadine, metronidazole, orbax, and penicillian, i am currently cyringe feeding her so don't like giving her the c. to increase her appetite. Her emp. has gone down but she seems to be weaker, I feel that all the meds together are weakening her, could this be true?

He vomited on Sunday once and once on Monday, he is very lethargic today, won't eat but will drink and wants to lay in my arms and lets me rub his belly which is abnormal for him, he is usually very very active and playful. He does go outside daily and has been now for about 2-3 months. Plese help

Metal Allergy Possible?
Posted on 2008/03/01 by MarissaMy dog was diagnosed with allergies. She has been on an elimination diet for 2 months and still has itchy, red skin on forearms and chest. She wears a collar with a metal buckle and the rash is especially bad on her chest where the buckle and tags hang. Could she have a metal allergy? We have bought her a new collar today, minus the metal and only put it on when she goes out. Allergies are year round. The only thing that helps is steroids which are not good for her. What is the next step we should take? She also has a raised, pimple (boil?) on her neck. Since she went back to her old food, she is lethargic, vomiting bile and has no appetite. This has only been...
