Increased thirst & urination

  • Bladder

Prince has been trained since he was a puppy and I never had any problems with him peeing in the house, but about a month ago it started to where when I get up in the morning he has peed all over his pee pads that I leave down at night, and not only have those soaked, but he has wet his bed and several different spots on the floor of the room where he stays. He seems to do ok during the day when I am home, but only when I am gone for 5 or 6 hours at a time and at night. I would like to know what might be causing his bladder problem and if there is anything I can do for him?

  • dog vomiting not eating

My min pin was on prednisone for less than a week 10 mg once a day. After a few days into it, he was drinking excessively. Five days ago he drank and then vomitted all the water back, drank some more and the same thing happened. He refused food so I took him to the vet and he diagnosed diabetes and a high white blood count. He is still not eating so they have him on an IV as of yesterday and only threw up once all weekend. Please help. I don't want to lose him. He's my baby.

  • Help

My 5 year old male cat has recently lost a lot of weight. At first it was gradual and seemed like a blessing as he was overweight. He seemed extremely playful, even more energetic than before. It seemed like nothing to worry about. It wasnt until just recently I started to believe him to be ill. Here are his symptoms: Weight loss, increased appetite to now no appetite, weaker and weaker especially in his back legs. I believe it to be diabetes but I dont know and I need help. He hasnt been to the vet since he was neutered about 2 years ago. We are taking him tomorrow but is there anything I can do right now to help? He wont eat but just keeps drinking which is upsetting...

  • Something More Serious?

My 3 year old Boston Terrier has had really bad gas for the last 4-5 days and he has been drinking a lot of water. No change in diet and I do not think he has got into anything he shouldn't have. Doesn't seem to be overly lethargic and he is still eating normally. Any idea what is going on?

  • foot sores

Sara has sores on her paws. The front 2 are spots with dark skin. The back 2 are now red and inflammed. She licks them. After she started with these irritations she also got an ear infection. Could this be an allergy or a yeast infection?

  • Sick dog

My boxer has been throwing up the last 2 weeks. The past week , he will not eat a thing. All he does is dring water. My other boxer died with the same symptoms in May. They said she had cancer of the stomach. Could this boxer have the same thing? He is doing the same thing she did. I do not have the money at this time to take him to the vet and I do not want to watch him starve to death. Do you think he has the same thing or something else?

  • Is my dog sick?

My dog has had excessive thirst which has caused her to have to go to the bathroom during the night and she has had some panting without exercise. Other than this she still shows no other symptoms. No personality changes still has energy and loves her walks. Is she OK?

  • sick puppy

Our choc. lab puppy is not feeling well. She is 4 months old. She started acting funny yesterday when she bit me, then last night she peed on floor (she's potty trained outside). When we did take her outside she would squat to pee then up to poop then down to pee again. She's been lethargic, but at the same time really playfull. She pants continuously and drinks way more than usual. She has alsow been knawing at her metal kennel (never done before) Vets tested her urine and found nothing. What could these be symptoms of?

  • Cat urinating on everything

my cat has started urinating on the couch, towels, plastic bags, phone books, basically anything left on the floor. I thought he might have a urinary tract infection, but he drinks a lot of water, and urinates in the litter box. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be ?

  • Hi. I am concerned about one of my cats, Sunny. We are unsure of his age, but he was a full-grown cat when he wandered into our lives 5 1/2 years ago. At that time, the vet thought him to be 3-5, and he was already neutered, but obviously had lived on the street for some time. He's had various health problems over the years, but the most recent began New Year's Day (No, no parties here.). At first we would see the following behavior maybe a couple of times a week--but now it's many times, daily. He either wakes up and does this, or yawns and does this, or just suddenly does this: He opens his mouth part way and sort of trembles, like cats do when they...
