Although she has been showing small signs of what I thought to be arthritis in her back legs babe recently took a large step backwards(literally). She has since had a great deal of trouble walking straight and up stairs and is tilting her head a bit. any idea as to what may be happening?

Something is wrong
Posted on 2008/10/01 by ReneMy acat is swaying from side to side when he walks and he is having trouble keeping balance. He keeps laying in the bathroom on the tile floor, and when he's laying and you look at him its hard for him to keep focus. I don't know whats wrong with him. This morning he was fine then i got home from work and he was like this could you possibly inform me what might be going on??

Ear Problem
Posted on 2008/10/09 by WayneI have a Miniature Schnauzer with an ear problem. She has been scratching it and shaking her head. In the past I have treated this with Panalog ointment. I believe a vet once told me I could use a ear wash of half vinegar and half water to clean it out. Is this true? Thank you Wayne

Apparant Eye Issue
Posted on 2008/10/13 by MichaelWe have a 12 year old boxer with a history of tumors. He's been acting very strange today and seems to have something going on with his eyes. It's almost as though a film has formed halfway across his eye from the inner corner. It also appears that his iris' are 'leaking' across the rest of his eyes - almost no white showing. I know they can't leak but it was the only way I could think to describe it. He's on a antibiotic, Baytril, for a bladder infection. His mood is very lethargic and he seems to hold his head low. Could you please advise if these symptoms indicate any serious issues we need to address? Thanks for your assistance.

We adopted Keystone from an animal shelter in June of 2008. Keystone started limping on his front right leg about 2 months ago, in August. I first treated him with Aspirin per my vets advice. After 2 weeks he wasn't getting better so I took him to the office. He was started on Prednisone which he took for 10 days. During those 10 days he started not to walk on his leg at all and would drag it on the ground. The Prednisone only seemed to exacerbate the problem. A second opinion at a different vet resulted in x-rays which showed extra growth in the bones of his shoulder. In the mean time he developed a harsh dry cough. The vet said the bone growth was due to an infection...

Posted on 2008/11/05 by UserI found 2 kittens about a week old from outside on road. I have been having them for four days. I fed them with feeder. i kept them warm but now all of a sudden about four hours before one of them slept after drinking milk but never woke up when i checked him he was all covered with his potty and was not able to hold his head up. I cleaned him up. kept him warm tried to feed him but now he is not taking milk. he is not picking up his head. he is just down breathing but not able to wake up. please help me i really want to save him.
