Head tilt

  • kidney problems?

I have a female cat who's brother died a little over a year ago with a blockage (kidneys). She has been going downhill ever since. She is anorexic now, you can see her bones. She refuses the litter box (has made my daughter's bed her litter box). I rarely see her eat much, she does drink a lot of water. She is still loving but the last couple of days she has just wanted to lay around. Is she about to pass away like my male did?

  • My loving cat, "Mr. Whiskers", for many months, has not been his active self. I have taken him to several vets wanting to know answers to his progressive symptoms: dragging of left hind leg (if he moves),staggering/falling, walking against walls, head tilt, hiding under the bed, lack of interest in play, lack of eating/urination, little meowing and more moaning, eye infection/lazy right eye, urination trouble (while I hold him) and seizures. Mr. Whiskers's vet placed him on 1/2 pill of Predisone every two days. In addition, I was told just to make him confortable since his demise could be near. Since his last seizure (about a month ago) Mr. Whiskers has...

  • Hello! I have been reading about issues some pet owners have with their cats, in attempt to identify what my 10 month old kitten might have... Here is what's wrong with her. Her name is Stella. She has not been neutered. She received her first shots against distemper, and all other basic shots at 5 months old. She is due for a recall. However, she seems very unbalanced. When she was younger, she used to run and fall on her face, or she will rub her face on you to pet her and when you do and suddenly stop, she would fall on her side. A few months have passed, she can get off the sofa by landing on her feet a little better than before. But she still looks like her head is...

  • I took my dog into Petco, to be groomed yesterday morning. When we pick them up everything appeared fine, until closer inspection. I noticed my dogs eye was weeping a lot on one side, I called the groomer and she new which eye it was and said it happening a home? Later in the conversion she asked if was bleeding... I thought that was strange. I few hours later I realize he was excessively pawing his eye, thats when i know it happening at the groomers. Because I would have noticed it, he would have been doing it earlier at home. Upon closer in spection I noticed his brow and eye lid area is cut or scratched, I cant tell because of the crusting and weeping arounded the...
