Our 6 yr old Jack Russell-Chichuaua mix has developed a swollen sack (quarter-sized) under his throat, tremors in his right rear leg, head tilting, ear scratching, and nervous pacing. He cannot get comfortable to sleep. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

Dog unable to stand & head tilt
Posted on 2008/04/19 by UserMy dog is taking enalapril for his heart, a bronchodilator theo-dur, previcox for his arthritis & optimmune to produce tears for his eyes. His health has been declinging in the past year. In the past 6 mos, he only gets up to go outside & to eat. Which I contribute to loss of stability in his hind legs. I recently made a ramp to assist him in going outside which still required assistance by a family member. He's been vomiting off & on lately. Another Opinion
Posted on 2008/05/27 by UserMy cat has been diagnosed with (benign paroxysmal vertigo) by exclusion by the Neurologist. My question (for a different opinion)...Is there anything else we...

WHAT HAPPENED
Posted on 2008/07/10 by Chazit was hot today and my dog was wrestling with another.shortly afterward he seemed like he couldnt find his balance, started drooling (he never drools) staggered back and forth for a bit, i picked him up and he was still trying to walk in place for a bit, walked in circles, knocked over his water bowl while walking slowly, slightly sideways, and seemed to be somewhere else. i thought he was seriously dying, but shortly thereafter, he started playing and running around normal. i found him on the highway about 6 months ago, and noone knows what breed he is, but is apparently about 12 or 13 years old.
