  • eye problems in my Golden

    I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever. He is very ill, and I've been to the Vets many times the past 5 days. They aren't quite sure what is going on with him. They are thinking either Horner's Syndrome or Uveitis. Here are his symptoms: Both eyes are rolled up. Both eyes are sunken in. The third eyelid is across the eye area. The eyes are droopy. The inside of the eye area is red. He is very tired. He can bring his eyeballs down for a short period of time, but acts like it takes a lot of effort to do this. After a physical exam, his eyes are the only signs of something really wrong. Eye pressure in a dog is suppose to be 10-15, his one eye is 4 and...

    my cat had a anaesthctic yesterday well the vet removed the dead tissue round a ulcer in his eye he home now but wont drink only eat a little and unsteady on feet just sleeps all time what could cause this

  • eye problems

    I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever. He has no health problems. He recently developed an eye condition. His eyes - both of them - got sunken in and rolled up. His eye pressures are very low in both eyes. His third eyelid is up. He can bring his eye balls down for short periods of time, but seems like this takes a lot of effort. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anything like this???? The Vet is unsure what is going on. He is on steroid eye drops and pills. If anyone knows anything, please help me!

  • Massive muscle loss

    Good morning My question is my dog has lost about 35 pounds in the last couple of months until last night his appetite was as thow he was always starving he has quit eating now and for past three days he threw up at least once a day he is still drinking plenty of water he has lost all his muscle mass every where I took him to the vet last month they could not help me because I did not have 300 dollars for bloodwork and xrays He also seems quite swollen around his ribs

  • Bruiser has a swollen eye

    Hello, It looks like my 5 month old boxer was stung by something earlier today. Around 11AM my son noticed that his eye was starting to swell. I was at a soccer tournament and instructed my son to give the dog 2 Benedryl tablets. I have been trying to call the emergency animal number for the last 30 minutes and have had no success in getting in contact with a human being. It looks like the other eye is a little swollen as well. What should I do? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
