Yellow discharge in eyes and runny nose
Posted on 2008/08/11 by TanjaMy 3 month old kitten has yellow discharge from his eyes. He has had the discharge for about two weeks and someone told me that it is common in kittens and nothing to be alarmed over so I wasn't worried... but for the last couple days he has a stuffed up runny nose especially when he wakes up from a nap. Now I'm starting to get a little worried. My other kittens left eye has some discharge but doesn't appear to be that bad. None of my adult cats have any symptoms. Can someone please tell me what this could be? Thanks

Your Opinion
Posted on 2008/10/19 by UserI have an approximately 10 year old biscon-poodle mix dog that is taking Proin Drops 25 mg. I give it to her twice a day. It seems to work most of the time, but sometimes she is still dripping. My question is, will this ever get better? Will she always need this medicine, and do I have to increase the amount I give her over time? Any side affects? She has seizures, (not severe enough to take meds) she is deaf, is now having trouble with her eye, and has had (last year) 14 teeth pulled. My poor little girl!! I would appricate your opinion. Thank You

My cat, "Tink" is 18 and has been walking funny for about one year. As soon as I saw her walking like this, I took her to the vet right away. I thought if it was something simple like earmites or an ear infection, it could be easily treated). The vet said they suspect a central nervous system issue, but we could not afford an MRI. They said it did not seem like she was in pain and to keep an eye on her. When she walks, her hind legs are spread apart and mostly straight. She has also had trouble with balance and jumping on and off of things. I usually don't get to see her that often (about once a year) since she lives with my dad. This week I noticed...

Problem with an eye
Posted on 2007/12/30 by TrentonSasha Marie has something in the inside corner of her left eye. It seems to be growing, but we're not sure what the cause is. My wife wiped it with a warm washcloth and it popped. It made Sasha Marie very uncomfortable. Do you think it's anything serious that a vet would have to check?

Eye discharge in puppy
Posted on 2007/12/31 by CaraMy 9 week old puppy was adopted 3 days ago. One of her eyes began a discharge today. We plan a visit to the vet for a well puppy checkup and to establish a vet but it is New Years Eve tomorrow and not sure if they will be open to new patients. We are not sure if this is something we should consider an emergency or if it can wait a day or two.

Guidance needed on whether to go for MRI or not
Posted on 2008/01/03 by Mary AnnFirst let me say I know you can not tell me what to do and you haven't seen my dog, I have a 10 y.o American Bulldog, he awoke yesterday with right sided face drooping /eye, he is walking on his knuckles of hind legs and having trouble with balance,he seems to have no control over his hind legs, is lethargic, laying around, no appetite, he was healthy one day (except for allergies) and woke up to this the next. We took him to the vet the same day and left with pretty much no answers, their suggestion of course is to seek a neurologist ( 2 hrs away is closest) MRI etc., the cost of these things is enormous so we are weighing his chances of actually getting better, by this...
