My 18 month old tom cat is displaying symptomsof diarrhoea, lethargy and the white inner protective film on both eyes is not retracting properly and is more needy than usual. He is not off his food and still want to go outside regularly. He also seems to be chasing or looking at things that are not there. His ears are also very hot. Thanks for your help.

I have a Pekingese, male, 3 years old, that has been having seizures for about a year. He is a beautiful blonde that I rescued from a very abusive person when he was a year and a half old. He has come so far since those terrible times in his life and is now a happy part of the family who knows what it is like to be loved and to give love without fear of being beaten. He has been on phenobarbitol since diagnosed. However, every time he has a seizure (seems to be one every month or so), it is always worse than the last one he had. We have increased his phenobarb levels (a month or so ago) and last night he had his most intense seizure yet (and of course it was on a Friday...

Eye Twitching
Posted on 2009/11/22 by GabriellaHi. My dogs eye keeps twitching and at times when it gets worse she partially closes it. She looks uncomfortable and when it happens her depth perception is off and looks like we're going to hit her or something. We took her to the vet and they tested her eye pressure and looked behind the ear and such. But they said it all looked normal. Although the vet did see her do it said that it was not normal behavior and it shouldn't be happening. She put her on a type of steroid that is supposed to help and make her not do it. They said we should take her back in if the meds don't help and they'll send her to the optometrist. Which will be a minimum f $300. She still hasn't...

My kitten is sick
Posted on 2009/11/22 by UserHi, my cat has been sick for a couple weeks now and has gotten a little bit better. He no longer has a runny nose or sneeze but is still tired and has a reddish ring around his eyes. We took him to a vet and they gave him some antibiotics. After he takes them, the red rings go away for a while but come back until he takes his medicine again. What is wrong with him? Thanks

MY PRETTY BOY CAT IS SICK!!! TT_TT
Posted on 2009/11/23 by UserI will be getting him to a vet soon to get all those regular things, but besides the worms and fleas (which I expected when I got him), his eyes have been swelling up? On the in side of the eyes closer to his nose, his tear ducts or his inner eyelid, I don't know which, has covered about 1/3 of his eyes. It's a pale pink and he can't see through it. It kinda makes it look like he has lazy eyes, except that the area of the eyes is still the same. He keeps himself clean, except for the fleas, but he's also sleeping 90% of the time. Not just when I'm awake either. My Dad works a night shift so he regularily gets up at night even when he's not working and he's noticed how...

Medication went through wash/still...
Posted on 2009/12/09 by UserI got medication for my dogs inflammed 3rd eye lid. The medication just went through the wash because it was in a pocket of a robe, and the wash had had detergent and bleach. Thankfully the cap was on, is this safe to still adminster to my dog, since the cap was on?
