  • Strokes?

Tinkerbell is an older dog, but likes to play and have fun. However, lately she has been having trouble walking and sometimes will just fall down for no reason. She also will have times where for several days she will not get up because it appears she is in pain. It will subside, and everything appears to be normal. During this time, her legs are stiff and massaging her lower back and giving her baby aspirin seems to help a lot. She also has constantly goopy eyes and she sneezes and hacks quite frequently (unrelated to latter condition). What could be wrong? We feel bad for her, but being she is so old, we wonder what we can do for her.

  • Discharge from eyes in kittens

We have two kittens adopted from animal shelter 3 weeks ago - 12 and 14 weeks old now. They have seen the vet and been through a dose of Clavamox and then Gentamicin Sulfate for water eyes (and sometimes yellowish colored.) They don't water or have yellow discharge every day. One of the cat's was sneezing every so often and we were told to use the Gent. Sulfate as a nose drop on her (along with in her eyes.) What's the next step? Appetite is great, using the litter box fine, no diahrea, very playful. Thank you.

  • I have a 2 y/o boston terrier(bought her from a breeder) and she has always been a little different! When she was a puppy she couldnt jump ontop of things because she wouldnt jump high enough.... as shes grown up she can jump on our furniture(because she knows where it is). If we go to a neighbors house she will try and jump on their couch and just run into it....its very sad! Its like she cant judge how high the object is. When i call her to come inside she sometimes just looks at me and cocks her head to the left like she cant tell what i want her to do, and sometimes when i tell her to get in her kennel she wont even look at me, like she doesnt hear me. When she goes...

  • Eye

Killian my 8 month old German Shepherd got hit in the right eye with a baseball that was (traveling about 70mph) 4 days ago, the eye has a slight cloudy gray look around the outside of the eye but not the pupil its self. what dose this mean?? There is a small laceration about 1/4inch below the eye that looks to healing normally. His behavior and diet is about as normal as can be expected, he dose seem to be more lethargic then before but I assumed because of the stress and pain it's self.

  • Brown-Red Eye

My cat has suddenly a red eye. It's been like that for half an hour. She was fine before that. What does that mean? I am very scared.

  • vestibular

  • PLease help my puppy!

My 2 year old shih tzu has developed a white muscas-like "string" comming from her left eye. It appears to be stuck to the eye ball, and I was scared to pull on it just in case. The vet told me to apply a very diluted salt-water solution to the eye, but is there anything else that I could do to help heal her? Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

  • I have a 10 year old dachshund that has started to lose the hair on her ears. Not only this, but the tips of her ears have become scaly and small pieces can easily be pulled off. She's had the scaly skin for a while now, but she's just now beginning to lose the hair. Could you tell me what this is and how to treat it? Also, she sometimes gets what looks like acne on her chest, but the pus is black and brown. Any ideas on what that is? Thanks.
