• Red around the eye - conjunctivitis?

  My cat has one eye that is watering and seems to be red around the rim. The eye itself looks fine. I can't afford to take him to a vet is there anything over the counter?

  my cat minky had two kittens in july, both died last week and minky has died a week later, they all had the symptoms: bloody noses, loss of balance and tempory paralysis of back legs, loss of appitite, eye and throat infections and severe vomiting and sneezing

  does anyone know about turtles. I just got her but i read that if they have discharge from their eyes they could be sick however the discharge is clear and runny like our tears is this normal? i can not find any books on this kind of turtle. thank you

  Hank is a 100% indoor cat, and has been vomiting lately. She does her normal hairball evacuation, but this vomit is partially digested food. Also i have noticed she has a yellowish ring around her eyes. She has greenish colored eyes so the yellow ring really stands out. Also she is a little standoffish, she is usually very affectionate. Any ideas?

  MY 10 MONTH OLD BOXER PUPPY EATS EVERYTHING IN SIGHT. I TRY MY BEST TO KEEP THINGS AWAY FROM HER, BUT SOMEHOW SHE ATE A PIECE OF ONE OF THE MANY CACTI I HAVE IN MY HOUSE. SINCE THEN SHE HAS BEEN LITHARGIC, THROWING UP AND I NEED AN ANSWER WHAT TO DO FAST. PLEASE HELP ME

• Kennel Cough

  My family adopted a 6 yr old male Cocker Spaniel named Bailey from an animal shelter in December 07. Checked by a vet, he was diagnosed with a 2-3/6 heart murmur and had kennel cough prior to the adoption. The cough has persisted for almost three months. A variety of antibiotics have been prescribed including Amoxicillin, Tetracycline 250 MG, Cephalexin 500 MG, and lastly Baytril #68. Lasix 50 MG was also given for the heart murmur to see if the cough was heart related. There was little improvement with any of the treatments. • reddish blisters

  i took my 7 yr old lab to the vet monday with an eye problem they were both swollen and very red. he gave her some eye drops, ointment and antibiotics this is friday and she has developed some redish blisters around her mouth and nose they are about the size of a kitchen match head or a little bigger and they cover from about 1/3 of the front of her mouth any ideas?
