my dog had a haematoma surgically removed seven days ago.i apply Fucidin on the entire surgury area as my vet has told me to do so. the vet had given her a long lasting anti-biotic after surgury as well.we keep an e- collar on her to keep her from scratching the area.but she does flip her ear now and then pretty forcefully. i noticed today that there is a slight red line on a part of her ear, about 1 cm long, i can see a tiny but of flesh. .should i be concerned about the red line? is there something i should do about it? any medication i should apply on it?

Posted on 2009/08/09 by Usermy boxer dog suffers with allergies all year round, dust mites and pollen affect her the worst. she is currently on atopica 100mg once a day (a lower dose is not as affective) although this works for her she gets an upset stomach and we struggle to get the tablet into her every day (very stressful for both of us) also it works out quite expensive (200 euros a month). have you ever treated a dog successfully with colloidal silver?

Posted on 2009/08/23 by Useri got a 1 month old kitten, she had a gunky eye so i took her to the vet, he said she had an infection so he gave her a shot of antibiotic and some eye drops called necain (7 mg neomicina sulfato + 0.5 mg dexametasona 21 fosfato / ml); as soon as we got home she ran to her litterbox to pee and then she vomited about 5 times, she tried a couple more times but her stomach was empty, she hasn't been able to eat or drink although she tries, she looks disoriented and weak, is that normal? is there anything i can do?

Then I saw some little blood mixed up with this white cream. So if you are able to tell me what's wrong and what I can do for my cat? Thanks for reading. Hope you know the answer.

Posted on 2009/09/13 by UserOur 14 yr old male neutered dog had his annual ck-up at his regular vet, Thu 9/10. Due to ongoing kidney problem (on Hydrocholothiazide, 75 mg, bid since Jan. '08), dr tried to ck urine but dog did not pee so dr catheterized our dog which we do not recall ever being done before. After returning home, we noticed our dog appeared sore in his hind area (around penis?). The next morning, 9/11, he urinated in the house around 6 a.m. - something he has never done. Again, this morning, 9/13, he urinated in the house sometime before 8 a.m. We always let him out before going to bed (sometimes 3 a.m.) - at 12:30 a.m. last night. Just a bit ago we noticed 3 droplets of blood...
