My cat is 5-6yrs. old, we just moved across country and she was doing fine, but the past two and a half weeks she suddenly stopped eating and hasn't eaten anything and two days ago she started dry-heaving and drooling...? I plan on taking her to a vet this week, but just thought i'd try this too since it's the weekend...

Cat, labored breathing w/ mouth open, has stopped but still breathing heavy...
Posted on 2008/12/06 by ShaunaLastnight (12/5) my 14 year old cat (1/2 tabby 1/2 siamese) was on the floor meowing in pain. He had labored breathing and was breathing with his mouth open and had passed some gas. When his mouth was open he'd start to drool but then he'd close his mouth and swallow his spit and start all over again. I drove him to the local pet hospital but didn't take him in as his breathing returned to normal, he was alert, looking around, mouth no longer open. Upon arriving home I discovered he had pooped in the towel he was wrapped in, not sure if this helps at all. When I brought him inside he hid under a bed until I got him out so I could watch him. His labored breathing...

Dog strange behavior
Posted on 2008/10/26 by UserWe came home to find our dog had thrown up some stomach bile and was drooling excessively and pacing. She will not sit down. What could be the cause of this? About 2 years ago she had what we thought was a seizure because we witnessed her eyes do some weird stuff and then she was tilted to the side and couldn't walk well for a week or so. Tests did not show that she had had any infection going on, and she did not get worse, so we didn't think it was a tumor. A seizure is the only explanation we or the vet could come up with. She seemed to make a full recovery, but I'm wondering if she is getting ready for another....

sezures making me sad but Rowdy is taking it well
Posted on 2008/09/07 by OdisMy dog is approx 16 y/o. He is part yellow lab and maybe chow or pit,(Vet said part german sheperd and y/lab but I don't see it) He has started having seazures (Falls down, Muscles get stiff, sometimes he cries out, pee's a little sometimes) about once every 3 to 4 weeks. Otherwise he has a good quality of life. #1 Vet said put him down cause of age, but he is still in pretty good shape, (only had conversations with, as he knows Im disabled and on SS and cant afford alot) He also told me it would be expensive to find out what the issue is!! So the main question I have is there something HOMEOPATHIC, or a old wifes tale cure I might try? My dad is telling me to mix a...
