  • Sick Dog

my dog is lifeless and is moving around very slowly with his tail down and is drooling on one side of his mouth. I looked all over my house for something he might have eaten that was poison or would make him sick and I can't find anything he could of gotten into. What can I do for him. He's 5 years old, Pit Bull that is normally full of life and playfulness. Please help me.

  • excessive drooling

Why is my dog drooling excessively from only one side of her mouth?

  • Cat Herpes - Drooling

Hello, I have read a lot of articles from this site, all very very helpful. I am maybe paranoid, but it is 3:00 am and I cannot sleep because I am worrying about my cats. I know they have the herpes form of the cat flu, or upper respitory. the one girl cat is drooling so excesivly that she can barely go about her activities. she has to stop and have a drooling fit of foamy saliva. she sneezes when she isnt busy drooling or combined.. I feel really bad for her. I am trying to avoid the vet since we just spend 400 on them last week testing them for FIV and treating their infections so I was hoping to avoid it this time. My question really is what can I do for them...

  • Unsure of illness...

My cat has recently developed a gooey, clear (human snot looking) substance from her mouth. She seemed fine all day, but I found her sleeping in my room with this goo running from her mouth. She is sticking her tongue out slightly as well and it almost looks like she is struggling with it. Its thick, smelly, and she has licked it on different places of her body causing the fur to harden slightly in those areas. Also her nose is dry an she has no energy. I know something is wrong and I'm worried. What is wrong with her?

  • Hi. I am concerned about one of my cats, Sunny. We are unsure of his age, but he was a full-grown cat when he wandered into our lives 5 1/2 years ago. At that time, the vet thought him to be 3-5, and he was already neutered, but obviously had lived on the street for some time. He's had various health problems over the years, but the most recent began New Year's Day (No, no parties here.). At first we would see the following behavior maybe a couple of times a week--but now it's many times, daily. He either wakes up and does this, or yawns and does this, or just suddenly does this: He opens his mouth part way and sort of trembles, like cats do when they...

  • Stray cat drooling

I am feeding a stray cat and I noticed he appears to be sickly. He has saliva dripping from his mouth and his eyes are droopy and has hair missing. He does eat like a horse so it doesn't appear to affect his appetite

  • What killed my cat?

I would apprecieate any ideas on what might have killed my cat of 8 yrs. He was a In and outdoor cat, via a doggy door. Had been all his life. Moved to Okmulgee Oklahoma in 10-05. "Key", his name, absolutely loved his new fenced yard, birds, bunnies etc. Often brining in his "kill" for my purview. He was current on all preventative shots. On late eve of June 6th,06, I found him extrememly lethargic. Time was after midnight, I thought I wait till morning. In the morning he was almost comatose. Took him to a nearby vet, the front desk person said that she didn't feel that much could be done, but when the attending vet returned I would get a phone call. Until the vet...

  • Cat is drooling

I noticed yesterday that my cat was drooling and had mucus dripping out of his nose (the drool/mucus is clear). He is also less active and has been hiding in the bathroom or other rooms and sleeping. I am REALLY worried about him!

  • cat suddenly aggressive

about 2 days ago my usually very friendly cat wasn't really wanting to get picked up and tongith right after i put his frontline on him he walked away and started to drool a bit, acting odd, and didn't want me to pick him up, when i did pick him up he was sensitive to touch, and when i barely touched his underside her growled at me, but he has never gotten aggressive with me at all. and now about an hour later he is acting almost normal again.
