My husband and I got a Siberian Husky from a pet store 4 weeks ago. She seemed sick since the day we got her, we thought it was because she was stressed. She had diarrhea. We took her to the vet several times because we didn’t want her to get dehydrated. He put her on some different meds. Nothing helped. Wednesday night (30th of January) she started to act really freaked out and crying so we thought she was in pain. We took her to the vet on Thursday and she started to have many of seizures in one hour, at this time I was balling because I didn’t know what was going on. The vet took her home to his house overnight to watch her. He called Friday and said he...

We've been crate training her when we leave for the day, but latly she's been struggleing with it. She keeps having accedents even if she's not in there for very long. We always let her go potty before we put her in there, but it doesn't seam to matter. Also, she seems to have speration anxity. I don't know how else to ask for advise.

Kooki is 13 years old. Last night I noticed that some of her teeth are missing and most of the rest are rotten and her gums are red. I am wondering if it is best to have them pulled or put her down. I am not willing to spend thousands of dollars to fix her teeth.

Cat is pulling hair out
Posted on 2008/03/25 by JamieHello, My cat Nanuuk has been chewing chunks off hair out almost everyday for over a month. He's ripping it out from the base of his tail, along both sides from his armpit to his belly and a little bit on his chest. It looks crazy and it seems like he can't help himself. Is this a sign of something serious? Outwardly, he seems to be doing well other than gum disease.... Thank you so much for your help!! Jamie

mouth drooling?
Posted on 2008/04/02 by joyMy degu has started to drool while eating. and he is having difficulty getting it in his mouth. I took him to a vet. He said the teeth are fine. not too long. his bottom lip looks a little swollen too. i recently brought home another degu (francois' brother had passed away) so i'm wondering if it's from fighting. how do I get chemicals out of his water so it doesn't get worse. should i worry.

Mongrel having seizures
Posted on 2008/05/06 by UserMy dog a mix with a springer and a lab, has these seizure type things that have been getting worse over the past month. We just got him from the SPCA a month ago. He curls up his back and cannot walk. He drools a lot and starts breathing really heavy. He also crys very quietly. And is very disoriented for about 10 minutes. After words he is really tired and loving. I am very worried I am taking him to the vet today.
