Sky is having another few bad days, but this I'm really nervous. She has not eaten since tuesday, today being Thursday, Tuesday night sh threw up just about everthing she had for dinner. She has been panting very hard and pacing. Her mouth is open with tongue hanging out and today her nose is running. Enough so that it is dripping. She is still drinking water and going out to the bathroom. But just about thirty minutes ago she started heaving as though she was going to get sick but nothing came. I have called the vet but have not heard back from them yet.

We just moved into a new place because when living with my in laws, their cats would attack our cat, so we had to keep him locked up. Since moving, he was a lot happier, at first, more social, and his injuries finally started healing up. He had had non cancerous lumps, which after being asperated just showed inflammed tissue. Now, however, he has started becoming reclusive, he's drooling excessively, and doesn't appear to be eating or drinking. Also he cries a lot, he only used to meow if you picked him up, now he wanders around crying when he comes out from hiding. We adopted him two playmates because he is a social cat normally, and he liked the kittens at first, now...

Sick Aged Cat
Posted on 2008/10/05 by UserMy 14 year old cat was bitten by dog 9 months ago She disappeared for three weeks and came home emaciated, and very sick. She was treated with antibiotics and anti inflammatories for 6 weeks. We were told not to expect her to survive treatment. She did but over the last 4 weeks she has deteriorated again. She has lost weight, muscle tone and sneezes blood. Is it time for euthenasia or will I keep persisting with treatment. She was also hit by a car and cracked her pelvis about 6 years ago.

vomiting white foam
Posted on 2008/10/19 by UserMy cat is 12 years old. She spit up a hairball maybe an hour ago. Since then she has been vomiting up a white foam. She sound and is acting like she has to spit up another hairball but all that comes out is a white foam. Could she have a hairball that she is having trouble coughing up or could it be something more serious? Her breathing seems to be getting faster too.

excessive drool
Posted on 2008/10/20 by BobA week ago Oreo starting drooling excessively, and his bottom jaw dropped. We expect the dog ate something poisenous(We found mushrooms in the yard). the drooling is now to a minimum. We have other animals can the drool hurt them?
