i have a 6 year old cat an he has started to look bloated and has dirreah...i gave them a wormer called d-worm (piperazine) incase they had worms...he is a 6 year old 10 1/2 lbs outdoor cat...i don't have much money for a vet...anything i can do like a home remedy

sick puppies
Posted on 2008/09/24 by dd emy friend has amarican bull dog puppies 7of them they are weak,saliva coming out of their mouth diarea and vomiting 2 have suddently died witch we are sad about. he changed their food 2 days ago (brand Ror) and that's when he noticed they were not well.but not shure if thats the cause. what can be the cause of their sudden illness? and a cure for it. please help we don't want any more death these are beautiful puppies i think only 5 months old.

Loose Stool
Posted on 2008/09/21 by Russell HerlThe past 2 or 3 days since the storm (Hurricane Ike)he has had loose stools.Yesterday he started vomiting it is yellow.No visible signs of blood or worms in stools.I acts normal and his hose is cold and wet.I havenot given him anyting to eat in about 18 hours now.I am steaming rice for he now.Anything I can do or give him to help,he seems to strain when he has use the bathroom,and is all soft.

she's getting worse
Posted on 2008/09/19 by Angela AndersonSo Bella seems to be geting worse. At lunch today her poo yellow and had white little things in them. I took the sample to the vet thinking she did have worms and get some meds, but they said she doesn't have worms when they tested her poo. What concerns me is now it is plain yellow mush that I can't even pick up and is the white stuff undigested rice? She seems to be getting worse since I put her on the bland diet.

recent vomiting and light blood in diarreah stool
Posted on 2008/09/18 by oscar gomezHello, our 12 week old puppy has had diarrhea for the past three days. We think it started from him eating the some of our other two adult dog's food. We bought some anti-diarrhea liquid which has kaolin and pectin and his stool turned alot more solid and partly white, which is the color of the liquid. We gave him boiled chicken with rice last night and he ate it no problem, but threw it up about 1 1/2 hour later. This morning his diarrhea was back with light blood in it, and he has no appetite. He doesnt't want to eat the chicken and rice. He has been drinking some water and his nose is moist- it was dry last night. Any suggestions before taking him to the vet?

My question is for some days my dog has been ill with red and felling very weak. His stool comes out watery and black. the vet doctor says he is suffering from intestinal bleeding. Even though he has been put on infusion and some injections he still not feeling ok. His health is detoriating fast, he doesn't eat only drinks water and now vomit blood and foaming. what actually is the problem?

Giardia Parasite
Posted on 2008/09/09 by Jaclyn CesarI have a 6month Yorkshire Terrier that has been treated with 3 different antibiotics for the Giardia parasite, but is still coming out positive for it. The vet has told me i have 3 options: go to a GI specialist, leave her alone, or treat her off and on week after week with Flagyl antibiotic. The problem is that she tends to snack on her poop...so she keeps reinfecting herself and can't get rid of it! We've tried over-the-counter medications for this, but she still eats it! Any advice??? She has soft stools every other time she poops...but she's otherwise healthy...weighs over 7lbs, eats 1/2-3/4 cup of puppy food...

Posted on 2008/09/05 by UserHello, my German sheppards hasnt been eating the way he should be the last week, and he is having problems going to the bathroom, as in solids. He looks like he is in discomfort, and is starting to walk funny. his stool is small, and I think there might be worms, I actually saw a worm in his stool, but I am not sure if it was there or a visitor later. It looks like he has been digging alot lately outside, I wonder if he ate something from the ground, and now its playing havoc with him. I love my dog, he is 8 and my buddy, but he isnt doing well, and I am divorced and cant afford to take care of him if this is serious, its really killing me to watch him just get more miser ...

my dog has strange thing sticking out near its rectum
Posted on 2008/09/04 by Userspringer spaniel age 9 has what looks like a bone sticking out between his tail and rectum there is a small amount of blood, the dog seems fine and is showing no discomfort, its stool was loose 2 days ago so we have put him on dried food , but hasn't been since drinks plenty though
