• Swelling on my dog's face.

  This morning Zeus developed a bump on the left side of his face, right below his eye. I am unsure if he hit his face on something or if he has a dental problem. The knot has just gotten bigger and I am getting very worried. He does not seem to have a problem with eating or drinking, but he has been whining excessively and even tried licking the couch.

• infection from abscess affecting breathing

  hi. I took my 19 year old cat teddy to the vet yesterday because i noticed his breathing was loud and not at all normal. The vet said he had an abscess in his mouth which was infected and had spread to his throat. He gave teddy two injections, one was antibiotics and the other an anti inflammatory. He also gave 10 x50mg of clavaseptin which he told me to give him the first one today.We saw the vet 11am yesterday morning and teddy seemed to perk up no end but at 11.30 pm it seemed as if he was having real trouble breathing and he couldent go to sleep because he would lose his breath and he was frightened. I gave him his first tablet at 3am this morning and i wonder if you...

  i was playing with my 6 month old kitten and one of his teeth fell out. is this normal? do cats lose baby teeth like we do?

• oral surgery?

  My 10 year old boxer has an oral cyst. It is not cancerous, but is invasive. They have recommended surgery to remove it and part of the bone. Is this necessary for a 10 year old dog? It will be very expensive because it has to be done by specialists.

  my cat had an infection in his mouth and i did a 2 week treatment of clomax per the vets advice. It is 3days since he finished the treatment and my cat is not eating at all

• Sick boy please help

  I have a 9 month old chiuauah male that began vomiting yesterday morning. He is continuing to vomit but will drink water at this point. He has also began to lose his bladder control and has lost a tooth. He has also had one episode of diarrhea. Please help I am a single out of work mother with very little income and a large love for my pets.

  I have an older nanny goat that has been sluggish for the past couple of days. She will eat, but only if you put the food right in front of her mouth and she isnt eating as much as she was. she will get up, but she isnt nearly as mobile as she used to be. also she has swelling on the top of her neck. We worm our goats regularly, but we thought maybe she got them somehow so we put some liquid ivermectin on her and gave her a dose of past wormer. That was about 18 hrs ago. no change as of yet. she also has white gums. What is wrong with her.

• Lung Cancer in Cat

  I have a cat that has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. We have decided not to seek additional treatment and let him live his remaining days safe at home. Does anyone know what I need to aware of to help him through this process? Thank you.
