hi my dog has had these symptoms for a while now and it is starting to worry me! he wont let me near the bottem of his back there are huge scabs there and he has been very moody latly (growling at the kids) and he vomited twice the other day.

Hi AGAIN sorry for all the questions but i just want to make sure my dog is OK. Well my dog has been coughing lately and it kind of looks like he's choking and nothing comes up..it happens when we're walking him aswell..we got him a harness so that the collar wouldnt choke him but i dont think its got anything to do with that!! Please help!!

Tinkerbell is an older dog, but likes to play and have fun. However, lately she has been having trouble walking and sometimes will just fall down for no reason. She also will have times where for several days she will not get up because it appears she is in pain. It will subside, and everything appears to be normal. During this time, her legs are stiff and massaging her lower back and giving her baby aspirin seems to help a lot. She also has constantly goopy eyes and she sneezes and hacks quite frequently (unrelated to latter condition). What could be wrong? We feel bad for her, but being she is so old, we wonder what we can do for her.

lethargic dog
Posted on 2009/04/11 by UserWe adopted a chihuahua mix 5 months ago (Doc). He is 7 months old. we adopted a poodle mix about 2 weeks ago (Ted). He is 4 months old. I took them to the vet 4 days ago and they were diagnosed with kennel cough. Doc had a kennel cough vaccine in January and does not cough as much as Ted. Even Ted usually only coughs at night. They are both on antibiotics. Doc has increasingly become lethargic since Ted joined our family. Now, Doc has vomitted about once or twice a day for 4 days. (Yellow frothy). He doesn't eat much and is extremely lethargic. Any ideas what is going on? Ted sleeps ALOT, but plays more than Doc also.

puppy has a fever
Posted on 2009/09/17 by Usermy puppy seems to be having a fever. he makes weird noises that sounds more like a sneeze or a cough, trying to get something out. i'm not sure what it is called, but the side nails on his back paws, well...one of them fell off, and the other one seems to be falling off. there is no bleeding and doesn't seem to have any kind of infection there. what can i do?

Cat Coughing / Sneezing
Posted on 2007/12/16 by MirandaHiya, When we came home on Thursday, our cat was making a funny noise. When we went to see him he was coughing and managed to bring up some foam. Since then he has still been coughing and sneezing but hasn't been sick since. He is still eating happily and going outside as normal, which is why we haven't been too concerned. However, the coughing sounds really sore. Is there anything wrong with him and is there anything we can do to help, or does he need medication? Thanks for you help
