• kitten wont go number 2

  my kitten is 6 weeks old. its been on soft food for two weeks. it has bad pinkeye. but the question is: she hasnt had a bowel movement since she started eating 2 weeks ago. i dont know what to do, is there a home remedy?? i cant afford a vet. please help or it will die

  my ferret was diagnosed yesterday with hpylori and she still wont eat or drink and has absolutely no energy and more weight loss what should i do?

• cat's diet

  My 17 year old, 22 lb. balinese cat is missing most of his teeth and can no longer eat dry food. Canned gives him diarrhea and he doesn't seem to like the texture. Pouches all have gravy on them and all he does is lick the gravy off eat a few peices of the meat and then walks away and is hungry in an hour. So my sister suggested I start feeding him boiled chicken breast. Well, he of course likes that but now he is only moving his bowels about once a week. Is this because of the high protein diet? Or, should I be concerned?

• American Bulldog

  My American bulldgo has been taking medication perscribed by a vet for an allergic reaction to his rabies vaccine now his stomach seems to be swollen and he is just not acting like himself. Is there anyhting i can do for him in my home until I get paid and can take him to the vet again? He has been taking 2 asprin twice a day, 3 benadryl twice a day, and 2 Metronidazole twice a day.

• Bowel Problems

  My 11 year old calico cat has been having problems with her bowels lately. She doesn't sit properly (and will either be in a "pouncing position" or will lay down), and constantly has feces either half coming out, or surrounding her bum (almost like she's constipated and has diaherrea at the same time). There also feels like a bump when you apply slight pressure to the right side of her stomach and has lost a lot of weight. She doesn't appear to be in any pain and has a healthy appetite. I've been away for the past month at school and was home for the first time this past weekend. Over the course of the weekend she appeared to be getting better. What's causing...

• Concerning a friend's cat's health.

  I have a friend who has a cat that is 11 yrs old and is a purebred persion [flat face and all]. She has been displaying symptoms of trouble (or labored) breathing. She seems at time to have some weezing, but not all the time. But for the last 2 days has displayed some trouble breathing. It's almost as if she's panting or struggling to breath "not through her mouth though". It's more like she's having strong contractions that expand and contract through her stomach. Like a convulsion almost. But is in the consistancy with her breathing. Eating ok, Not pooping as much as usual but still going, everything else seems to be ok.She is indoor/"somewhat"...

• A wound maybe? Rash?

  10 yr old Pembroke Welsh Corgi Now, i know have obesity and constipation marked but i feel the wound is more important at the moment and will get to the rest later. I came across, what looked like, some sort of rash on my dogs..... left? Shoulder. I saw it for a couple weeks, just thought it was this small patch of hair missing, it was a small scab at first but it never developed any worse over time so i figured it was just something that was going to heal. I don't know if he scratched it open or what but as i examined it closer tonight i saw that it was a layer or so of skin and hair peeling off, scabby looking, puss? maybe, unerneath, and of course, it was...

• Constipation

  Is there a way to feel my dogs stomach to see if she is constipated? She has serious constipation problems and had to have surgery about a month ago. She is on laculose but it is hard for me to monitor he BMs when I am not here. Can I feel her stomach and see if she is stopped up?

• my dog is not acting like himself.

  my dog has these symptoms vomiting diarrhea loss of appetite suddenly weak lethargy. he only had diarreah for a day or so and now when he tries to poop nothing comes out and he just stands there shaking alittle. i cant get him to a vet right now so i was wondering if there is anything i can do for him i also think he might have gotten into some chocolate but i dont know how much. if there is anythign i can do for him please let me know.
